Manual RD200 and RD300
Introduction
The reader is configured to work with VAKA. This manual is only required if the
reader should be reset or used with Axbase3000.
EM: PCPR 1-9028-3
Mifare: PCMIF 1-9028-4
Installing the software
1. Put the supplied disc into a computer.
2. Open the folder
RD200
or
RD300
.
3. Start the program
RD200_RD300_Tools_VXXXX.exe
.
Configuration
RD200 - EM
1. Set the USB reader to PCPR 1-9028-3.
2. Open the USB reader software.
3. Click on
Get Current Setting
.
4. Select
USB Keyboard Emulation
under
USB Mode:
.
5. Select
10H->13D
under
ID Format
for VAKA,
6H->8D
for Axbase.
6. Select
Add Enter (CR)
.
7. End by pressing
Set
to the left of
Get Current Setting
.
8. Select the tab
Command test
and select the field
(Ascii)
.
9. Read a tag and make sure the numbers are correct.

2. Open the USB reader software.
3. Click on
Get Current Setting

USB Keyboard Emulation
under
USB Mode:

ID Format
for Axema Mifare Classic (AM12345678),
14H->17D
for Mifare DESFire or
8H
for Axbase with Mifare Classic or
DESFire.
When using Axbase, Axema Classic tag has to be read directly to Axbase.
