Getting started
Step 1 Connections
Turn off all equipment before connection and
read the appropriate operating instructions.
Do not connect the AC mains lead until all
other connections are completed.
1 Verify if the TV’s HDMI terminal is
labelled “HDMI (ARC)”.
2 Make the connection.
A HDMI cable
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia
Interface)
The HDMI connection supports VIERA Link “HDAVI
Control” (> 25) when used with a compatible
Panasonic TV.
Use the ARC compatible High Speed HDMI Cables.
Non-HDMI-compliant cables cannot be utilised.
It is recommended that you use Panasonic’s HDMI
cable.
HDMI standby pass-through
Even if the main unit is in standby mode, the audio and/
or video signal from the device connected to the HDMI
AV IN terminal will be sent to the TV connected to the
HDMI AV OUT terminal (the sound will not be output
from this system).
3D compatibility
Compatible with FULL HD 3D TV and Blu-ray Disc
player.
The main unit can pass-through the 3D video signal
from a 3D compatible Blu-ray Disc player to a FULL
HD 3D TV.
4K/60p compatibility
Compatible with 4K Ultra HD TV and Blu-ray Disc
player.
This system can pass-through the 4K content of a 4K
compatible equipment to a 4K Ultra HD TV.
When connecting to 4K compatible equipment and
4K Ultra HD TV, use High Speed HDMI cables which
support 18 Gbps bandwidth.
Connection with the TV
Connection differs depending on the label
printed next to the HDMI terminal.
Labelled “HDMI (ARC)”:
Connection [A]
Not Labelled “HDMI (ARC)”:
Connection [B]
What is ARC?
ARC is an abbreviation of Audio Return Channel, also
known as HDMI ARC. It refers to one of the HDMI
functions. When you connect the main unit to the
terminal labelled “HDMI (ARC)” on the TV, the optical
digital audio cable that is usually required in order to
listen to sound from a TV is no longer required, and TV
pictures and sound can be enjoyed with a single HDMI
cable.
[A] Labelled “HDMI (ARC)”
HDMI IN (ARC)

Be sure to connect to the TV’s ARC
compatible terminal. (Refer to the operating
instructions for the TV.)

1. korak Povezivanje
Prije povezivanja isključite svu opremu te
pročitajte odgovarajuće upute za uporabu.
Nemojte povezivati kabel za napajanje
izmjeničnom strujom dok ne provedete sva
ostala povezivanja.
HDMI (High-Denition Multimedia
Interface)
HDMI-povezivanje podržava VIERA Link “HDAVI
Control” ( 25) kad se upotrebljava za spajanje s
kompatibilnim Panasonicovim TV-prijamnikom.
Koristite se HDMI-kabelima velike brzine koji
su kompatibilni s funkcijom ARC. Ne mogu se
upotrebljavati kabeli koji nisu kompatibilni s
tehnologijom HDMI.
Preporučuje se uporaba Panasonicovih HDMI-
kabela.
Prolaz kroz HDMI u stanju čekanja
Čak i ako je glavna jedinica u stanju čekanja,
audiosignal i/ili videosignal iz uređaja spojenog
s ulaznim HDMI AV-priključkom slat će se
TV-prijamniku spojenom s izlaznim HDMI AV-
priključkom. (Zvuk neće dopirati iz ovog sustava.)
Kompatibilnost s tehnologijom 3D
Kompatibilan s TV-prijamnikom FULL HD 3D i Blu-
Ray čitačem.
Glavna jedinica može provoditi 3D-signal iz Blu-
ray čitača kompatibilnog s tehnologijom 3D do
TV-prijamnika FULL HD 3D.
4K/60p kompatibilnost
Kompatibilan s 4K Ultra HD TV-prijamnikom i Blu-
Ray čitačem.
Ovaj sustav može propustiti 4K sadržaj 4K
kompatibilne opreme na 4K Ultra HD TV-prijamnik.
Kad povezujete s 4K kompatibilnom opremom i
4K Ultra HD TV-prijamnikom, koristite se HDMI-
kabelima velike brzine koji podupiru propusnost
od 18Gbps.
Povezivanje s
TV-prijamnikom
1 Provjerite je li HDMI-priključak
TV-prijamnika označen kao “HDMI
(ARC)”.
Povezivanje se razlikuje ovisno o oznaci
navedenoj kraj HDMI-priključka.
S oznakom “HDMI (ARC)”:
Povezivanje A
Bez oznake “HDMI (ARC)”:
Povezivanje B
2 Spojite.
A S oznakom “HDMI (ARC)”
Obavezno spojite na priključak TV-

Uporaba IR Blastera
njime upravljalo.
Detalje o dometu potražite na 8. str.
Upotrebljavajte isključivo isporučeni IR Blaster.
1 Spojite utikač u priključak lr sustava
glavne jedinice.
A IR Blaster (isporučeno)
2 Postavite infracrveni odašilj na
vidljivoj udaljenosti od senzora signala
daljinskog upravlja TV-prijamnika.
Primjer postavljanja
Na stražnjoj strani glavne jedinice:
B Senzor signala daljinskog upravljača
TV-prijamnika
C Infracrveni odašiljač
D Ljepljiva traka
3 Usmjerite daljinski upravljač TV-
prijamnika u senzor daljinskog
upravljača ovog sustava i upravljajte
TV-prijamnikom.
Detalje o položaju senzora signala daljinskog
upravljača TV-prijamnika potražite u uputama za
uporabu za TV-prijamnik.
Odaberite lokaciju koja odgovara okolini.
Očistite površinu na koju ćete zalijepiti ljepljivu traku.
Ako odlijepite ljepljivu traku, površina se može
oštetiti i može ostati izloženog ljepila. Nakon što
potvrdite da TV-prijamnik radi ispravno, učvrstite ga
ljepljivom trakom.
Kad TV-prijamnik primi signale s daljinskog
upravljača i IR Blastera, njihovi signali mogu
istovremeno smetati jedan drugome, zbog čega će
biti nemoguće upravljati TV-prijamnikom.
Pokušajte upotrebljavati daljinski upravljač TV-
prijamnika pod drugim kutom.

13
Step 2 Placement
When carrying the active subwoofer
Take care not to damage the inside speaker
unit.
The speaker protection cover is attached to the speaker
unit inside the subwoofer. Remove it before use.
When the subwoofer is brought close to CRT TVs and
other display devices, the magnets in the speaker may
cause some colour irregularities or image distortion. If
this happens, move the active subwoofer to a place
where these symptoms do not occur.
