DANLERSplatedrotary2-way‘leadingedge’dimmersareavailable
aseitheronegang(250,400or630W)ortwogang(160W)dimmers.
They are supplied on a square plate except for the DP1D  630WI
dimmerwhichissuppliedonarectangularplate.
Presstheknobtoturnthelamponandoff,rotateitclockwisetobrighten
thelampandanti-clockwisetodimit.
The lamp can be switched from other locations by using standard
2-way and intermediate wall switches. It cannot be dimmed from
another location and no other dimmer should be connected into the
sameswitchcircuit.
These plated rotary dimmers can control wire-wound transformers
(inductiveload)usedtodimlowvoltagelamps.
Eachgangofeachdimmerswitchcandimwithinthefollowingloading
limits,theyneedthefollowingwallboxdepthandaresuppliedonthe
followingplateshape.Aguide-linemaximumnumberoftransformers
(TXs)isalsoincluded,butthisdependsonthequalityofthetransformers
being used.

1.Pleasereadthesenotescarefullybeforecommencingwork.
Incaseofdoubtpleaseconsultaqualiedelectrician.
Makesurethepowerisisolatedfromthecircuit.
2.Thesoftstartgriddimmershouldbeconnectedas:
L1 Live1(position1of2-wayswitch)
L2 Live2(position2of2-wayswitch)
3 Common(commonof2-wayswitch).
3Typicalwiringdiagramsareshownopposite.
4.Oncethewiringhasbeencompletedandveried,switchonthesupply
and test the operation.
