Fantec QB-X8U31 is an enclosure for up to 8x 3.5” SATA hard disk drives featuring USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C interface, backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 and offering transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps. It has a built-in thermal sensor and a smart fan with three speed levels. Fantec QB-X8U31 offers two modes of fan control: manual and automatic. It also supports synchronization with the PC's power state, entering sleep mode when the PC is off and waking up when the PC is turned on. The device is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 7, and Mac OS X 10.13 or later.
