Improper use
It is considered improper use when the Manifold strip
W is used for any application not named in these instructions,
W is used under operating conditions that deviate from those
described in these instructions.
Personnel qualifications
Assembly requires basic pneumatic knowledge, as well as
knowledge of the appropriate technical terms. Assembly may
therefore only be carried out by qualified pneumatic personnel or
an instructed person under the direction and supervision of
qualified personnel.
Qualified personnel are those who can recognize possible hazards
and institute the appropriate safety measures due to their
professional training, knowledge, and experience as well as their
understanding of the relevant conditions pertaining to the work to
be done. Qualified personnel must observe the rules relevant to the
subject area.
General safety instructions
W Observe the regulations for accident prevention and
environmental protection for the country where the device is
used and at the workplace.
W Do not change or modify the Manifold strip.
W Only use the Manifold strip within the performance range
provided in the technical data.
W Do not place any mechanical loads on the Manifold strip under
any circumstances.
W Make sure that all relevant system parts are not under
pressure or voltage before you assemble the Manifold strip.
W Ensure that all connections of the Manifold strip are correctly
carried out.
W Dispose of the Manifold strip in accordance with the applicable
national regulations.
