GENERAL
The PI-1BP is a slave interphone station presented in a wall
plate. It allows a one-way voice connection to a Master Station
of the entire Castel range.
The anti-vandalism version of the door opener is the PI-1BP AV.
The handicapped version of the door opener is the PI-1BP H AV.
The hardware must be installed and used in accordance with
the guidelines of this document.

CONNECTION
The connection between the Slave Station and a Master Station
requires a screened cable with one twisted pair.
Maximum distance of the Master Station: 500 m with a cable cross-
section of 0,3mm² (6/10
ths
) and 1000m with a cable cross-section of
0,6mm² (9/10
ths
).
The connection is carried out via a 2-stud split fitting.
USE
• Calling the master station from a Slave Station
Calling a Master Station (call key pressed) triggers the transmission of a
ringing stream to the selected Master Station for as long as the key is
pressed.
• Master Station line tap
The connected Master Station can establish communication with the
Slave Station at any time. The Master Station manages the conversation.
• Power
The voice-transmission power can be adjusted on the Master Station.

INSTALLATION
Please use a permanent marker when writing on
the PVC labels.
• Surface-mounting
Back installation by three screws.
Placing the back on the belt.
For the anti-vandalism version, place the
reinforcement plate (diagram below) in the bottom
of the housing before tightening the wall-mounting
screws.
