The most commonly used functions of the projector are covered in the Quick
Reference Guide. Always keep this with the projector so that it can be referred
to when needed.
See "Troubleshooting" in the User’s Guide if there are problems such as no
projection, poor image quality, etc.

"Screen Size and Projection Distance"
Turn off the power for both the projector and the computer before connecting them.
The size of the projected image is basically determined by the distance from the lens to the screen.
The actual values will vary depending on projection conditions and the zoom setting.
The values should be used as a guide for setting up the projector.
Be sure to read the accompanying User's Guide
before using the projector.
Do not look into the lens while
the projector's power is turned on.
WARNING
The computer cable supplied with the projector may not match the monitor port on some
computers. In such cases, you will need to purchase a separate adapter.

Viewing the Contents of the Document CD-ROM
Tip :
The PDF manuals in the Document CD-ROM are version 1.3. Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or later,
or Adobe Reader is required to view the PDF manuals. The Document CD-ROM contains Acrobat
Reader 5.05 for Windows. If you need a different version of Acrobat Reader or Adobe Reader, visit
the Adobe Systems website.
For Windows
Turn on the power for the computer and insert the Document
CD-ROM into the computer's CD-ROM drive.
A page will be automatically displayed for you to select the model of projector
you are using.
Double-click the "Launcher_for_OS86_9x" or the "Launcher_for_OSX" file to
display a page for selecting the model of projector you are using.
For Macintosh
Click the model of projector you are using.
The following main page will be displayed.
All of the manuals can be printed out as well as viewed on-screen. To print out a manual,
display the required manual on the screen and then click the "Print" icon. Refer to "Saving
This Guide on a Computer" for details about the "Print" icon.
Tip :
When using Windows, a message will be displayed in case that Acrobat Reader is not already
installed on the computer. Follow the instructions which are displayed on the screen to install
Acrobat Reader. Once the installation has been completed, remove the Document CD-ROM from
the computer's CD-ROM drive and then re-insert it to display the projector model selection page
once more.
