Preparing the Machine

Procedure
1. P ark the mac hine on a lev el surface and
diseng ag e the blade control (PTO).
2. Mo v e the motion control lev ers to the brak e
position, stop the engine , remo v e the k ey , and
w ait for all mo ving par ts to stop before lea ving
the operating position.
3. Allo w the engine to cool before contin uing
with the installation.

Installing the Ring Bafes

Bolt (1/4 x 3/4 inch)

Locknut (1/4 inch)
Procedure
1. Install the front end baffle to the mo w er as
sho wn in Figure 1 and Figure 2 . Use 3 bolts
(1/4 x 3/4 inc h) and 3 loc kn uts (1/4 inc h) to
secure the baffles to the mo w er .

2. Install the tw o rear ring baffles to the mo w er
as sho wn in Figure 1 and Figure 2 . Use 6 bolts
(1/4 x 3/4 inc h) and 6 loc kn uts (1/4 inc h) to
secure the baffles to the mo w er .
3. T or que all fasteners to 90-110 in-lb (10-12
N ⋅ m).
