Testing HF RFID Reader
HF RFID Reader Introduction
HF RFID is an initial of Radio Frequency Identification, which is also called electrical tag. The
principle of RFID is to tag the target by radio frequency and process the data reading and
transporting instead of mechanic and optical contact. HF RFID system consists of the hardware
and software. The hardware part includes the HF RFID tag and reader, and software part
includes its application system. HF RFID is commonly used for ticketing, payment, access
control and data transfer applications.
The RFID Reader is located on the bottom right front side of the HMI device.
The RFID’s frequency of electrical tag is 13.56 MHz.
Scanning HF RFID Tag
1. Go to all APPS menu, then tap TARS Test icon.
2. While TARS Test application is open, bring a card close to the RFID icon on the front side
of the HMI device.
