Epiphan Video Webcaster x1 is a powerful live streaming encoder that allows you to stream live video and audio to YouTube. With its HDMI input, you can connect any HDMI camera to the Webcaster x1 and start streaming in minutes. The Webcaster x1 also has an Ethernet port, so you can connect it to your network and start streaming to YouTube.

The Webcaster x1 is easy to use. Simply connect your camera to the HDMI input, connect the Webcaster x1 to your network, and turn on the device. You'll see a pairing code on the front of the Webcaster x1. Enter this code into the YouTube website, and you're ready to start streaming.

How to use your Webcaster X1
to stream live to YouTube

Using an Ethernet cable, connect Webcaster X1 to your
network. (The network must have access to YouTube so
Webcaster X1 can send your stream to YouTube.)

Plug the provided power cable into the back of Webcaster X1
and turn on the device by toggling the ON/OFF switch.

See your YouTube pairing code
on the front of Webcaster X1.

In a browser on your computer or phone, go to
https://www.google.com/device
After logging in, enter the device pairing code from
the front of your Webcaster X1. Click Next.
To manage your live event on YouTube, go to
https://www.youtube.com/live_dashboard.

Click Allow to let YouTube know it's okay to send your
email address and profile data to Webcaster X1 and to let
Webcaster X1 stream video to YouTube for you. You’re live!

When you're done your stream, turn off Webcaster X1.
YouTube automatically ends your event and if applicable,
processes your event into a video for replay.

How to use your Webcaster X1

Using an Ethernet cable, connect Webcaster X1 to your
network. (The network must have access to YouTube so
Webcaster X1 can send your stream to YouTube.)

After logging in, enter the device pairing code from
the front of your Webcaster X1. Click Next.
To manage your live event on YouTube, go to
https://www.youtube.com/live_dashboard.
