Epiphan Video Webcaster X1 for Facebook is a device that allows you to stream live video from your HDMI camera directly to Facebook Live. It's easy to set up - just connect your camera to the Webcaster X1, connect the Webcaster X1 to your network, and enter the device pairing code from the front of the Webcaster X1 into a browser on your computer or phone. Once you're set up, you can start streaming live video to Facebook Live with just a few clicks.

Connect your HDMI camera to the back
of Epiphan Webcaster X1™ using an
HDMI cable.
How to use your Webcaster X1
to stream to Facebook Live

Using an Ethernet cable, connect Webcaster X1 to your
network. (The network must have access to Facebook so
Webcaster X1 can send your stream to Facebook Live.)

Plug the provided power cable into the back of Webcaster X1
and turn on the device by toggling the ON/OFF switch.

See your Facebook Live device pairing code
on the front of Webcaster X1.

In a browser on your computer or phone, go to
https://www.facebook.com/device.
After logging in, enter the device pairing code from
the front of your Webcaster X1. Click Continue.

When you're ready to make your stream public,
go to your Facebook page and set your stream
permissions to public or friends.

Click Okay to let Facebook Live know it's okay to send your
profile data to Webcaster X1 and to let Webcaster X1
post to Facebook for you.

You're live! See Webcaster X1's screen to see how
long you've been streaming. When you're done your
stream, turn off Webcaster X1.
