1 . 1 ELECTRICAL SAFETY

WARNING!
It is the responsibility of the Installer, owner and operator to read, understand and comply with the following:
1.1.1 All electrical wiring must be carried out by a fully qualified Electrician in accordance with the current IEE wiring regulations.
1.1.2 Before any work starts make sure the Power is turned off and the cable is completely isolated.
1.1.3 All Heating Cables Must be Earthed.
2. INTRODUCTION
This termination kit is for use with CRJM (NOT CRJ) cables and can be used in hazardous and non-hazardous areas.
It contains all the parts required to fit the power supply end of the cable and all the parts to seal the far end of the trace heater cable.
If used with ATEX approved cables it is suitable for Zones 1, 2, 21 & 22. Groups IIC (Gas) and IIIC (Dust).
NOT SUITABLE FOR CRJ CABLES (See THK)

SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR SAFE USE:
The cable glands are only suitable for fixed
installations. Cables shall be effectively clamped
to prevent pulling or twisting. Cable glands have a
working temp of: -40ºC to +80ºC.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR SAFE USE:
These termination kits and the cable that enters them shall be fixed to a secure mounting point.
The components shall only be used with self-regulating trace heating cables within the following ranges:
-40ºC to +180ºC.
