Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
Remove the pieces shown above from the sprue.
Glue them together as shown above.
Attach them to the base.
The pieces of the corner support.
Glue them together then add them to the base.
Glue the walkway into position.
The front walls.
Add the lower pair first.
Then attach the upper pair.
The two rear walls.
Glue them into place.
If closed doors are required, glue these behind the
doorways
Take the floor piece and two side supports.
Glue them together as shown.
Take the two walls with end lugs.
Add these to the assembly.
Attach the other two walls.
Take the roof and two supports.
Take the two walls with lugs.
Glue them into place.
Add the other two walls.
Add the strips around the edge of the roof.
The finished model.
Painting:
Once constructed we sprayed our model white (car undercoat aerosol) then did a heavy drybrush of a
dark chocolate colout over the entire model.
After this had dried, a lighter drybrush of a milk chocolate colour was applied, followed by a cream
colour.
Wood work was picked out in the milk chocolate colour again, and a brown ink was applied to the
mortar course between the stones.
