Quick Start Guide
Wall Mount Bracket
(DM/BKT-CM-WALL)
The bracket has bottom and rear knockout panels to allow the cabling to enter.
If the rear knockout is used, the cabling will enter the back of the unit from
behind, therefore the WMB will be mounted over the hole to allow the cable
entry.
If the bottom knockout is used, the cabling will enter the bottom of the unit from
an installed junction box or conduit run.
Drilling procedure
1. Position a photocopy of the template shown overleaf in the installation
location. Note the orientation of the template, the procedure shows
orientation for a camera, refer to Installation Orientation overleaf. The
Inniti normally utilises the Wall Mount Bracket rotated 180 degrees.
Ensure the template drilling positions do not line up with any mortar
lines and do not come within 25mm (1”) of a brick edge. Use the
bubble level to ensure the template is correctly aligned.
2. Mark and drill 4 off 15m (9/16”) holes at positions X on the template.
3. Depending on the wiring path to be used, mark and drill 21mm (7/8”)
hole(s) at position W on the template and/or drill a 52mm (1 1/8”) hole
at position Y on the template.
Mounting Procedure
1. Loosen the six cap head screws that hold the protective lid to the body
of the WMB and lift it off. Let it hang on the retaining cord.
NOTE: Do not cut the retaining cord.
Note: There is a retaining washer on each screw which will come
off if the screws are loosened too much, which will allow the
screw to drop out of the lid.
2. The Inniti normally requires the Bracket is installed with the
protective lid facing down, in this case ensure the water drain hole has
been knocked out to allow drainage.
3. Pass approx 60cm (24”) of cable through the knockout hole.
4.
If using the rear knockout, apply a bead of clear silicone around the rear
knockout hole to provide a weatherproof seal around the entry point.
If using the bottom knockout, pass the cable and conduit through the
waterproof gland and tighten the gland to provide a weatherproof seal.
5. Use the upper two mounting holes to position and secure the Wall
Mount Bracket to the mortar wall using 2 off M8 10L Rawlbolts, then t
the lower two mounting screws using 2 off M8 10L Rawlbolts.
For other mounting surfaces use an appropriate fastening to secure
the unit.
Camera Installation
1. Remove the camera from the protective packaging. Loosen the cap
head screws on the camera with the supplied hexagonal key to allow
the camera to be tted to the Wall Mount Bracket.
2. Hang the camera on Wall Mount Bracket by attaching safety bond
spring clip to the eyelet (arrowed below).
Note: The safety bond is designed to prevent damage to the
camera if it is dropped during installation or maintenance.
It should be connected between the mounting point on the
camera and the eyelet on the bracket.
Note: Always support camera with bond prior to mating connector.
The weight of camera should be supported by bond ensuring
no stress is placed on centre connector at any time.
3. Pass the network and power leads through the WMB to the camera.
4. Ensure the Cap Head screws tted to the camera are backed far
enough out to allow the camera to be tted, but not far enough to
come free of the camera.
5. Connect the camera to the network and power.
6. Carefully feed in the network and power leads whilst tting the camera
to bracket ange ensuring heads of the previously tted cap head
screws pass through keyhole slots. Twist the camera to locate.
7. Tighten 4 top mounting xings with supplied Hexagonal key supplied
to secure the camera to the mounting.
8. Ret the lid to the Wall Mount Bracket using the six captive screws
retained in the lid. Ensure that the retaining cord is not trapped.

The Wall Mount Bracket can also be installed on the corner of a building using
the Corner Bracket (Part No DM/BRKT/ADAPT).
The Corner Bracket needs to be securely xed to the building using 8
appropriate xing screws and wall plugs, refer to the Corner Bracket
installation sheet for full instructions and template reference. The Wall
Mounting Bracket is mounted on the Corner Bracket using 4 off M6 x 25
Hex Head Screws and nuts with plain & spring washers
