Check the following points before assuming malfunctions of the TV set:
Problem Reasons
No picture & sound Improper connection of AC adaptor or the battery power is low.
No picture Reception may not be adequate. Relate the unit or change the antenna
direction.
No sound Volume is too low; Mute function is switched on.
The headphone has been plugged in or the signal is too weak .
Poor reception TV antenna is not correctly adjusted or TV channel is not right.
Dark or blurred picture The bright & contrast is too low. The battery voltage is too low.
Unclear or unstable
picture
TV antenna is not properly adjusted or in too weak signal
reception area.
Picture moves up &
down,blurs or folds
over
TV antenna is not rightly adjusted.
The signal reception is too weak or caused by signal reflection
from the buildings nearby or mountains.
Interfered snow
picture
The signal is interfered by car,s engine, railway, high tension
wires, neon signs or radio frequency.
No color Color or color system is not set properly.
MAINTENANCE
Be sure to press POWER to set the player to the standby mode and disconnect
the AC adaptor before maintaining the player.
Wipe the player with a dry, soft cloth.
If the surfaces are extremely dirty ,wipe clean with a cloth which has been
dipped in a weak soap-and-water solution and wrung out thoroughly, and then
wipe again with a dry cloth.
Never use alcohol, benzine, thinner, cleaning fluid or other chemicals. And do
not use compressed air to remove dust.

Favorite
It is used to store your favorite channels.
-Press up or down button to select it and press ENTER or right to get in favorite channels
page.
-Press up or down button to select the channels which you like, press ENTER to confirm it
as Favorite channel.
Show/Hide
It will show or high the channels which you selected.
-Press up or down button to select it and press left or right button to get in it.
-Press up or down button to select the channels which you wanted it to show or high.
Channel NO .
It is used to swap settings between two channels.
-Press up or down button to select it
-Press the left button to swap the current channel number with the previous channel.
- Press the right button to swap the current channel number with the next channel.
CHANNEL LABEL
-It is used to set the channel label as desired.
-Press up or down button to select and press ENTER to enter:Presionar "ENTER" para empezar el

-Press up or down button to input symbol or letter as desired.
-Press left or right button to enter the previous or next item.
-Then the label will display on the screen under channel number.

6.CHANNEL SETUP
Press left or right button to enter setup page:
Antenna
It is used to set the type of signal reception.
-Press up or down button to select it and then press left or right button to set.
-Options: Air /CATV.
Auto Scan
Before normal watching you must search for the available channels.
-Press up or down button to select it and press ENTER to get in scanning setup page:

REMOTE CONTROL
1.MUTE-To mute the sound.
2.NUMERIC BUTTONS-To input channel
numbers directly.

be in standby mode automatically in a period
of time you set.)
15.MTS-To change the soundtrack .

17.CHRTN-To return to previous program you
watched.
18.PIP ( Picuure ) -To enter the picture mode, keep
pressing it to select one as desired.
5. LOCK ( PARENTAL LOCK ) - Allow you to set up the unit from children watching
channels which one are rated above these viewing age.
- Press the left or right button to select the LOCK icon, then it will display as follow:

-Press the up or down button to select the ENTER PASSWORD, then input the password
0000, the screen will display as follow:
5.1Change Password
It is used to change the password, and the procedure of changing password is described as followings:
Enter old password in the OLD PASSWORD row
Enter new password in the NEW PASSWORD row
Enter the new password again in the CONFIRM PWD row
Press OK button on the screen to return to the Password Setup Page, then the Password has been
changed.
NOTE: The original password is 0000, you can change it, but you should write it down and keep it safe.
If you forget the password, please use the original password:0000.
5.2 System Lock
-Press up or down button to select System Lock ,press left or right button to switch it ON or OFF
ON: Turn on the system setting ,then you can set the Unrated Lock, US, CANADA TV program and
Reset RRT.
OFF:Turn off the system setting, you can not set all selections.
5.3 Unrated Lock
There are some channels need rate, this selection can turn on or turn off the Unrated channel.
-Press up or down button to select Unrated Lock ,press left or right button to switch it ON or OFF
5.4 US (The United States)
Press up or down button to select US, press right button to enter it then you can setting the TV program
rating ,the yellow cursor is which one you selected, press ENTER to confirm it then there will a lock icon
in it and all the levels which below it; and MPAA (you have set a Parental Control .There are seven
different settings from“x”to “NC-17” which you can choose).
5.5 CANADA(The Canada )
Press up or down button to select Canada ,press right button to enter it then you can setting the TV
program, and you have set a Parental Control .There are seven different settings from“E”to “18+” which
you can choose the levels.
5.6 Reset RRT
This will go back to the default factory settings.

Closed Caption
-It is used to set the caption mode.
-Press up or down button to select it and press ENTER button to get in setting page:
CC Mode-Press up or down button to select it and press left or right button to set the caption mode as
Off, On or CC On Mute.
Basic Selection-Press up or down button to select it and press left or right button to set as desired.
Advance Selection-Press up or down button to select it and press left or right button to set as desired.
Option
Restore Setting
-It is used to reset to factory settings.
-Press up or down button to select it and press ENTER button to confirm, then the screen
displays as below:
-Press up or down button to select YES or NO, and then press ENTER to confirm.
19.INFO-To display current program information, such as channel number, soundtrack
mode, subtitle language and so on.
20.LIST-To display all programs stored.
21.EPG-Display the program information of current day or latter days.
22.CC-To set the caption mode.
23.ENTER-To confirm a selection or a operation.
24.navigation button-To move up, down, left or right.
25.EXIT-To exit the menu page.
BACIC CONNECTION
Ensure all the cables are disconnected from the main unit before connecting to AC power source by AC
power adaptor.
Read through the instructions before connecting other equipment.

2.CONNECT EXTERNAL ANTENNA TO UNIT

-Connect the headphone to phone jack.
-Adjust the volume to the level you want by using VOL+/- button.
Sleep Timer
-Select it and press left or right button to switch the timer function off or set different sleep time.
-The sleep time can be set as 15/30/60//90/120/180/240 Min. by pressing left or right
button (The TV will be in standby mode automatically in a period of time you set.)

Time Zone
-Press up or down button to select it and press left or right button to set the time zone
according to the zone that you are in.
-Options: Eastern/ Central/ Mountain/ Pacific/ Alaska/ Hawaii
Daylight Saving Time
it is used to set daylight saving time(summer time)
Press up or down button to select it and press left or right button to switch this function on
or off.
Clock
-The clock can display the time of current digital TV program source when the unit is in digital TV mode.

-Press up or down button to select and press left or right button to change the OSD language.

-Options: English / French / Spanish.
Transparency
-Press up or down button to select and press left or right button to switch it ON or OFF.
-ON:It will make the OSD menu transparency, OFF: Will turn it off.
Color mode
-Press up or down button to select and press left or right button to change the color mod e.
-Options: Normal/Warm/Cool.
Zoom Mode
-Select by press up and down buttons and press left and right button to switch the screen aspect ratio
to wide (16:9) or normal (4:3).

2. AUDIO SETUP
Press left or right button to enter audio setup page:
Sound mode
-press up or down button to select it and then press left or right button to set the sound mode
as Personal, Standard, Music or Movie.
Bass/Treble/Balance
-press up or down button to select Bass/Treble/Balance and then press left or right button to
adjust.
-The Bass/Treble/Balance can be adjusted from 0-100.
Audio Language

-To switch the Audio channel: L+L/ L+R/ R+R
3. TIME SETIUP
Press left or right button to enter time setup page:
INSTALL BATTERY
INSTALL THE BATTERY AS FOLLOWS:
1. Unscrew the screw to remove battery cover.
2.Put the lithium battery in the flute.
3.Close the cover, then tighten the screw.
Note:
-Before install the battery, please push the POWER ON/OFF switch to OFF.
-Twist off or tighten the screw only on the sense showed by the direction on the unit.
-When closing the cover, you should aim at the slot accuracy.
Rechargeable Battery Use
1.Charge the battery
-Slow charge: The battery will charge in the play mode at a slow pace takes up to 12 hrs to charge
completely.
-Rapid charge: Connect the AC adapter to unit and trun the power switch off, the battery will charge at
rapid pace in 3 hrs.
- The indicator is red during charging; it gets green when charging completed.
2.Using and Maintaining Rechargeable Battery
-.The normal working condition temperature is: 0 ~45 ;
-.Always unplug AC/DC power supply for the unit whenever not playing.
NOTE:
A new battery pack which has not been used or one which has not been used for
more than a month, may appear to not recharged enough , this is due to the characteristic
of this battery and is not a malfunction. In this case, recharge it two or three times before
the first useand it needs more than 8 hours to recharge battery.
Noises may be generated during recharging. In this case, use a more distant power socket.
Do not recharge or discharge battery near a heating element such as a heater or direct
sunlight.

REMOTE CONTROL PREPARATION
BATTERY INSTALLATION
Install the battery as shown below. Be sure negative and positive terminals are
positioned as indicated in the battery compartment.(Fig1 )
SERVICE LIFE OF BATTERIES
-The batteries normally last for about one year although this depends on how often, and
for how long the remote control is used.
-If the remote control fails to work even when it is operated near the player, replace the
batteries.
-Use one size CR2025 battery.
Note:
Do not drop or step on the remote control. This may damage the
parts or lead to malfunction.
If the remote control is not going to be used for a long time, remove the battery.
REMOTE CONTROL
OPERATION
Point the remote control from no
morethan about 6 meter from the
remote control sensor and within
about 60o of the front of the
player(Fig2).
NOTE:
-The operating distance may vary
according to the brightness of the
room.
-Do not point bright lights at remote
control sensor.
-Do not place objects between the
remote control and the remote
control sensor.
-Do not use this remote control
while simultaneously operating the
remote control of any other
equipment.
MAIN MENU
The unit contains different setting menus. Once the initial programming is entered it is retained in
memory until changed, the TV can always be operated under the same conditions.
The settings will be retained in the memory until the settings are changed even after setting the player
to the standby mode.
Note: Please make sure either the unit is connected on the battery is charged to retain memory.
Initial settings
1.Press MENU button.
2. Use the left or right button to select preferred page, each page has Sub Menu to select different
setting. Then move the up or down button to set.
3.Press MENU button again to return to current setting item.
4.Press EXIT to close the setting menu .
1. PICTURE SETUP
-Press the MENU button the screen will display:
-When the menu displays on the screen, press the MENU button again to exit.
-Press EXIT to exit all menus.
Picture mode
Press up or down button to select, then press left or right button to set the picture mode
as Personal, Standard, Dynamic or Soft.
Contrast/Brightness/Sharpness/Tint/Color
-Press up or down button to select Contrast/Brightness/Sharpness/Color,then press left or
right button to adjust..
-The Contrast/Brightness/Sharpness/Color can be adjusted from 0-100.
-The Tint can be adjusted from -50 to 50.

INFO(INFORMATION)
It is used to display current program information.
-Press INFO button, the screen will display as below:
CC(CLOSED CAPTION)
It is used to set the caption mode.
-Press CC button, the screen will display as below:
-Keep pressing this button to select different item as desired.
-Options: Off/ On /CC On Mute
EPG (ELECTRONIC PROGRAM GUIDE)
It is shows you the program guide for the part and future:
Informatin in the EPG includes current and future program titles, dates, show lengths,
and episode summaries. How far into the future the program guide displays, as well as
teh specific information contained in the guide, depends on your signal provider.
Press the right navigation button to access future time slots.
When viewing a digital channel, press the EPG button on the remote control to access
the program guide supplied by the signal provider ( not available in all areas).
OPERATION
MAKE SURE ALL THE EQUIPMENTS AND AC ADAPTOR ARE
CONNECTED PROPERLY AND THE UNIT IS SET IN CORRECT
MODE BEFORE OPERATING.
1. Programming the channels
-Make sure that all connections are connected proporly.
-Switch the unit to on.
-Later the screen will display as below:
-Press left or right button to select YES and press enter button to start scanning the channels.
-Available channel will be memoried automatically.
Manual programming using remote control:
- Press MENU button and scroll to channel by using VOL+ key and select ANTENNA by CH- change air
or cable by selecting VOL+, or selected scroll down to Auto Scan by using CH- and press VOL+ twice to
select Auto Scan.
NOTE:
You must scan channel before watching for the first time, or there is no program shown, or it show not
database.
2. BASIC OPERATION
To Select Channel:
1. Press CH + button to play next channel.
2. Press CH - button to play previous channel.
3. Press numeric but tons on the remote control directly to select your preferred channel.
Example: To watch channel 9, press "9" ,three seconds later, it will automatically switch to channel 9, or
press ENTER button to confirm directly.
To watch channel 12, press "1" and "2", three seconds later, it will automatically switch to channel 12, or
press ENTER button to confirm directly.
Note: If one frequence dot has more than one channel, for example, you want select < 14.2 >, Press 1
and 4, then press -/-- and input 2.Once the input is done, it will start broadcasting the selected channel
immediately.
VOLUME CONTROL
1. Press the V+ or V- to adjust the level of currently volume.
2.The level of VOLUME can be adjust from 0-30.

MUTE
Press the Mute button to mute the sound, press it again to switch ON the sound.
NOTE: When the unit is in Mute mode, pressing V+ button will switch ON the sound and turn it up,
pressing V - button will keep the TV silence and turn down the sound.
TIMER SETTING
-Press the SLEEP button, the screen display as below:
-Keep pressing this button to select different time.
-The sleep time can be set as 15/30/60/90/120/180/240 Min.
(The TV will be in standby mode automatically in a period of time you set.)
PICTURE MODE
-Press PIP ( picture ) button to enter picture mode :
-Keep pressing this button to select different mode.

MTS (SOUNDTRACK MODE)
It is used to change the soundtrack output mode.
-Press MTS button to enter soundtrack selection mode :
-Keep pressing this button to select different mode.
-The soundtrack can be switched between audio language and audio effect output mode.
AUDIO (AUDIO MODE)
It is used to change the audio output mode.
-Press AUDIO button to enter audio selection mode :
-Keep press this button to select different audio output mode.
-The audio mode can be set as Standard, Music, Movie and Personal.
LIST
It is used to display all programs stored in the memory.
Press LIST button to display the program lis t as below:
SCALE
It is used to change the display proportion.
-Press SCALE button to change the display mode as below in 16:9
-The display proportion can be adjusted between WIDE and 4:3 mode show as below.
