1. Attach the nipple to the mounting strap, then secure it
with a washer and hex nut.
2. Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box by using two
mounting screws.
3. Unscrew the bolt nuts and remove the frame away from
the ceiling pan.
4. Gently place a bigger flat glass into the bottom of the interior
frame, secure it by placing 8 pieces of “S” clips (two on each
side of the interior frame) into position. (See Fig.1 & Fig.2)
5. Gently place four smaller flat glasses into four sides of the
interior frame into position as shown in Fig.5. With
one side locating into the slot of “S” clip, secure the
flat glasses by pressing the clips. (See Fig.3 & Fig.4)
6. Pull out the outlet wires and house grounding wire
from the outlet box. Make wire connections using the
wire nuts:
---The black wire from the fixture to the black wire
from the power source.
---The white wire from the fixture to the white wire
from the power source.
---Attach the fixture grounding wire to the mounting
strap with the green grounding screw. Then
connect it to the house grounding wire with a
wire nut.
Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.
7. Attach the ceiling pan to the mounting strap by inserting
the nipple, then secure it with the end cap.
CAUTION: With silicone caulking compound, caulk completely
around where back of ceiling pan meets with the ceiling surface
to prevent water from seeping into the outlet box.
8. Install bulbs (not included). See relamping label at socket area or
packaging for maximum allowed wattage.
9. Restore the frame back to the ceiling pan using two bolt nuts.
10. Turn on the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box.
