STEP-V
Fit the rem aining RIGHT END FR AME mortise holes over and onto
the BACK and FRONT SEAT RAIL tenons. Using a rubber m allet or
regular hammer with a wood block between the hammer and the wood,
drive the tenons and mortise holes together until all the joints fit snugly
together
STEP-VI
Hammer all dowels into their respective joints as shown in the assembly diagrams above.
Please make sure not to hit other parts of the bench. To avoid dim pling the wood, we
suggest that you place a block of wood between the dowel head and the hammer head for
the last few blows. If the dowels are not comple tely flush, use a saw to cut the ends and
then use the sandpaper to sm ooth the tops. Inse rt the brass screws into their respective
pre-drilled SEAT FRAME screw holes (see a ssembly diagram). Do not ham mer in the
screws, but drive them in with a proper screw driver. Insert eye screws into pre-drilled
holes on the outside of the END FRAMES.
