STEP-I
Unpack, inspect and lay the parts on a clean, flat, soft surface to avoid marring the wood.
NOTE: During assembly of the furniture please match joints with the corresponding letters or
numbers stamped on the wood.
STEP-II
Gently lay the END FRAME with the stamps near the mortise holes on a
clean, flat surface and fit the SEAT FRAME, and BACK tenons into the
END FRAME mortise holes as seen in the photograph. If necessary, gently
rock the parts while pushing down on th em until all the joints fit snugly
together.
STEP-III
Carefully fit the rem aining END FRAME mortise holes over all exposed
tenons and using a rubber m allet or a regular ham mer with the sanding
block between the ham mer and the wood, gently drive the m ortise holes
onto the tenons until all joints fit snugl y together. Carefully upright the
chair by lifting it up and setting it down, tilting the chair over might
damage un-doweled tenons.
STEP-IV
Carefully hammer the proper dowels into the pr e-drilled holes of the assem bly, details are
shown in the photographs and all dowels (and/or dowel bags) are marked to match where they
go.
NOTE: DO NOT FORCE THE DOWELS; ANY EXCESS CAN EASILY BE SANDED
AWAY. IF THE DOWELS ARE NOT FLUSH DO NOT CONTINUE TO DRIVE THE
DOWELS, YOU MIGHT DAMAGE THE ITEM.
STEP-V
Place SEAT SCREEN into SEAT FRAME as shown in photograph.
TO CONNECT UNITS OF SECTIONAL GROUP, THERE ARE
2 CLIPS SUPPLIED PER UNIT. PUSH THE UNITS TOGETHER AND
INSERT THE CLIP OVER THE CORRESPONDING SIDE RAILS. WE
RECOMMEND YOU USE 2 CLIPS PER SECTION, 1 CLIP LOCATED
IN FRONT AND 1 CLIP LOCATED IN THE REAR.
