Water test
Before you fly over, or land on water, you will need to carry out a water test to ensure the dome and
rear hatch are fitted and adjusted correctly.
Please follow the procedure below in order to carry out a water test;
Dome water test
1. Ensure the aircraft is powered o and the batteries are removed.
2. Remove the dome and rear hatch from the aircraft.
3. Using the supplied silicone grease, apply a thin later of grease over the dome neoprene seal.
4. Re-fit the dome and ensure each retaining clip is in its closed position.
5. Lower the front of the aircraft into a suitable container filled with water (bath, tub, pool etc.) ensuring
all of the retaining clips are submerged - do not submerge the whole aircraft only the dome / dome
clips needs to be submerged.
6. After a few seconds you can lift the aircraft out of the water. Keeping the nose of the aircraft
pointing down, look through the opening at the rear of the aircraft to check that no water has
breached the dome. If any water has breached the aircraft you will need to adjust the retaining clips in
that area, so they apply more pressure to the dome / neoprene seal.
7. Once you have made any required adjustments, repeat the above process.
Rear hatch water test
1. Ensure the aircraft is powered o and the batteries are removed.
2. Remove the dome and rear hatch from the aircraft.
3. Using the supplied silicone grease, apply a thin later of grease over the rear hatch neoprene seal.
4. Re-fit the rear hatch and ensure each retaining clip is in its closed position.
5. Lower the back of the aircraft into a suitable container filled with water (bath, tub, pool etc.) ensuring
all of the retaining clips are submerged - do not submerge the whole aircraft only the hatch / hatch
clips needs to be submerged.
6. After a few seconds you can lift the aircraft out of the water, keeping the nose of the aircraft
pointing up. Look through the opening at the front of the aircraft to check that no water has breached
the rear hatch. If any water has breached the aircraft you will need to adjust the retaining clips in that
area, so they apply more pressure to the rear hatch / neoprene seal.
7. Once you have made any required adjustments, repeat the above process.
Be careful not to get any water on the electrical components.
Only a thin layer of grease is required. Applying too much grease may cause it to run onto the
dome.

Flight
Once pre-flight preparation is complete, it is recommended that you use the flight simulator to learn
how to fly safely.
Ensure that all flights are carried out in a suitable location.
You can then move to your first flight with the SARAH2O PRO - however we advise your first few
flights are carried out in ‘Beginner Mode’ which can be set via the DJI GO app. Beginner Mode puts
a Geofence around the aircrafts takeo point. It limits the maximum distance you can fly to 30 meters
(98.4 feet) as well as restricting the height to 30 meters too. This can be turned o at anytime via the
GO app.
Gimbal motor error may occur in these situations: (1) gimbal is placed on uneven ground. (2)
gimbal has received an excessive external force, e.g. a collision. Please take o from flat, open
ground and protect the gimbal after powering up.
Flight environment requirements
1. Do not use the aircraft in severe weather conditions. These include wind speed exceeding 12m/s and
lightening.
2. Only fly in open areas. Tall buildings and steel structures may aect the accuracy of the on-board
compass and GPS signal.
3. Avoid obstacles, crowds, high voltage power lines and trees.
4. Minimize electromagnetic interference by not flying in areas with high levels of electromagnetism,
including mobile phone base stations or radio transmission towers.
5. Aircraft and battery performance is subject to environment factors such as air density and
temperature.
6.Be very careful when flying 14700 feet (4500 metres) or more above sea level as battery and aircraft
performance may be reduced.
7. The SARAH2O PRO cannot operate within the polar areas in “P” mode.
