Commercial Electric 5018-WH-2PK Low Voltage Recessed Cable Plate enables user to install low voltage cables behind flat-panel TV, amplifier, or other audio and video devices. Designed for use with low voltage/data cables only. It features pre-installed mounting brackets molded to the back of the plate and the ability to be installed upright or upside down. The removable back scoop makes it easy to insert larger cables through the wall plate opening. Follow the included template to cut a hole in the drywall.

Use CE Tech’s Low Voltage Recessed Cable Plate to install low
voltage cables behind your flat panel TV, (see Figures 2 & 3),
your amplifier or other audio and video devices. These recessed
low voltage cable plates are designed for use with Low Voltage /
Data Cables “ONLY”.
Low Voltage Recessed Cable Plates are designed with the low
voltage mounting brackets molded to the back of the plate (see
Figure 1). The wall plate can be installed upright or upside down
(see Figures 2 & 3 for upright installation).
Determine the location of your flat panel T
V, ampli
fier or
audio/video device. Use the enclosed template to cut a hole in
the drywall. When cutting the hole in the drywall, allow for the
location of the stud. Now simply pull your audio/video cables
through the wall and through the opening in the Low Voltage
Recessed Cable Plate (to help insert larger cables through the
opening in the wall plate, the back scoop of the wall plate is
removable). Now insert the Low V
oltage Recessed
Cable Plate
flush into the wall. Next, screw down the wall plate screws with
wings. The wings will fasten tightly against the back of the drywall
(see Figure 3) and your installation is complete.
These Recessed Cable Plates are Designed for Use
with Low Voltage / Data Cables “ONLY”.
Do Not Run or Pull the TV Cord or Other Electrical
Cords Inside the Drywall. National Electrical Code (NEC)
Does Not Allow the Installation of the TV Power Cord or an
Extension Cord Behind the Wall.
CAUTION
Never install low voltage wiring during lightning storms.
Never install low voltage wiring in wet locations
unless the wire is specifically designed for wet
locations.
Never touch un-insulated low voltage wires or
terminals unless the wire has been disconnected at
its source.
Use caution when installing low voltage cables.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Do not use this product near water, for example
near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, or
laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a
swimming pool.

Usa la Placa de Cable Empotrada de Bajo Voltaje de CE Tech para instalar
tus cables de bajo voltaje detrás de tu televisor de pantalla plana, (Ver
Figuras 2 y 3), amplificador y otros dispositivos de audio y video. Estas
placas de cable empotradas de bajo voltaje están diseñadas para usar
“SÓLO” con Cables de Datos / Bajo Voltaje.
Las Placas de Cable Empotradas de Bajo Voltaje están diseñadas con
soportes de montaje de bajo voltaje amoldados al reverso de la placa (Ver
Figura 1). La placa de pared puede instalarse en posición vertical o
invertida (ver Figuras 2 y 3 para instalación en vertical).
Determina la ubicación de tu televisor de pantalla plana, ampli
ficador o
dispositivo de audio y video. Usa la plantilla adjunta para abrir un orificio en
el drywall. Al abrir el orificio en el drywall, ten en cuenta donde está la
viga. Ahora simplemente hala tus cables de audio y video a través de la
pared y de la abertura en la Placa de Cable Empotrada de Bajo Voltaje (el
reverso de la placa de pared puede quitarse si se quiere insertar cables
más grandes a través de la abertura en la
placa
de pared). Ahora inserta
la Placa de Cable Empotrada de Bajo Voltaje a ras con la pared. Luego
fija la placa de pared con los tornillos de aletas. Las aletas se apretarán
firmemente contra el lado posterior del drywall (ver Figura 3) y así haz
finalizado tu instalación.
Estas Placas de Cable Empotradas de Bajo Voltaje Están Clasificadas
para Usar “SÓLO” con Cables de Transmisión de Datos / Bajo Voltaje.
No Tender ni Halar el Cable de TV u Otros Eléctricos Dentro del
Drywall. El Código Nacional de Electricidad (NEC) no Permite la
Instalación del Cable de Alimentación del TV ni de un Cable de
Extensión Detrás de la Pared.
PRECAUCIÓN
Nunca instalar cables de bajo voltaje durante tormentas
eléctricas.
Nunca instalar cables de alto voltaje en lugares húmedos, a
menos que el cable esté específicamente diseñado para ello.
Nunca tocar cables de bajo voltaje o terminales sin aislante, a
menos hayan sido desconectados de su fuente.
Actuar con precaución al instalar cables de bajo voltaje.
