Markallcurrentsettingsforthemobilitydevice(seat,
armrests,backrestetc.),andtheassociatedcableconnecting
plugs,beforedismantling.Thismakesreassemblyeasier.All
plugsarefittedwithmechanicalsafetydeviceswhichprevent
releaseoftheconnectingplugsduringoperation.Torelease
theconnectingplugs,thesafetydevicesmustbepressedin.
Whenreassembling,ensurethatthesesafetydevicesare
correctlyengaged.
Observethefollowingguidelines:
Itistheresponsibilityoftheinstallertomakesurethat
accessoriesthatareconnectedtothevehicledonotinterfere
withtheoperationofthecontroller.
Correctlyadjustallprogrammableoptionstosuittheuser
beforethevehicleisused.
Afteryouhaveconfiguredthevehicle,checktomakesure
thatthevehicleperformstothespecificationsenteredinthe
programmingprocedure.Ifthevehicledoesnotperformto
specifications,reprogramit.Repeatthisprocedureuntilthe
vehicleperformstospecifications.Ifthedesiredoperation
cannotbeachieved,contactDynamicControls.
Thedealer,therapistorotheragentwhosuppliesthevehicleto
theenduserhastheresponsibilitytomakesurethatthevehicle
iscorrectlyconfiguredfortheneedsofthatuser.
Foreachindividualuser,thevehiclesetupandconfiguration
shouldtakeintoconsiderationhisorher:otechnicalknowledge,
experienceandeducation,andomedicalandphysicalcondition,

test-drivethevehicleinasafeareainthepresenceoftheiragent.
Whereanyinconsistenciesaboutchairstatusoccurbetween
theLiNXsystemandthatreportedbyaprogrammingtool,the
usershouldtakethestatusasreportedbytheLiNXsystem
ascorrect.
ALiNXAccessKeyisanintentionalradiofrequency(RF)
transmitter.BeforeenteringanRF-sensitiveenvironment,unplug
theLiNXAccessKeyfromtheremotemodule.Donotplugin
theLiNXAccessKeywheninanRF-sensitiveenvironment.
Itistheresponsibilityofthemanufacturer,dealer,therapist,
orothersuitablytrainedpersonnel,todeterminethemost
appropriateinstallationsuitableforanysingleuser.Thisincludes,
butisnotlimitedto,theplacementoftheremotemodulefor
long-term,comfortableuse.

alockedstatebyflashingLEDsred,amberandgreen(farleft,middle
andfarright)untileitherthesystemispoweredoff,unlockedor
theSequenceTimeoutisreached.
Ifanattendantdualcontrol(DLX-REM50)isused,itis
lockedorunlocked,too.
Youcanalsolockandunlockthesystemviatheattendant
dualcontrol.Whenunlockingthesystemviatheattendant
dualcontrol,theattendantdualcontrolisincharge
automatically.
3.5Thesleepmode
Thesleepmodeisnofactorysetting,butcanbeenabledbyyour
provider.IfthisparameterissetOn,thesystemgoesintosleep
modeafteraperiodoftimewithoutuseractivity.Thisperiodof
timecanbesetbytheprovider.
Towakethesystemfromsleep,eitherpresstheON/OFFkeyor
movethejoystick,ifthisparameterhasbeenenabledbytheprovider.

Speedreduction
Ifthelifterhasbeenadjustedaboveacertainpoint,thedrive
electronicsconsiderablyreducesthespeedofthewheelchair.If
speedreductionhasbeenactivated,drivemodecanonlybeusedto
carryoutmovementsinreducedspeedandnotforregulardriving.
Todrivenormally,adjustthelifteruntilthespeedreductionhasbeen
deactivatedagain.
Speedreductionisshowninthestatusdisplay.Ifthelifterisraised
aboveacertainpoint,theliftersymbolandthedrivesymbolstart
flashing.Thesetwosymbolsremainflashingwhiledrivingtoshowthe
speedreductionuntilspeedreductionhasbeendeactivatedagain.
Tiltlimitswitch
Themaximumtiltlimitswitchisafunctiontopreventthebackrest
anglefromextendingbeyondamaximumpre-setangle,whenthe
lifterisraisedaboveacertainpoint.Thedriveelectronicsstops
automaticallyandtheseattiltorbackrestsymbolstartsflashing.
