Provide step-by-step procedure for the console

side cooler installation.

2. SCOPE

This procedure is limited to the console side cooler

installation on the 130 Super Sport.

7. PROCEDURE

7.1. Set the cooler in place.

7.2.

Align the front edge of the cooler with the front

edge of the non-skid on the deck.

7.3.

Place the large bracket against the freeboard.

7.2.1. Adjust cooler against the bracket

ensuring that the cooler seats firmly with

the bracket flush against

the handle assembly and

freeboard.

7.3.

Using the pencil mark the freeboard at the top

of the bracket on both forward and aft ends.

7.4.

Slide the cooler out of the way and using the tape

measure, measure ¾” below the marks made in

step 7.3.

7.4.1. Using the pencil mark the freeboard at this

point.

7.5. Align freeboard bracket with marks made in step 7.4.1.

7.5.1. Using the drill with 1/8” bit, mark the freeboard

through each of the holes in the bracket legs.

7.5.2. Remove the bracket and drill pilot holes at each

of the marks made in step 7.5.1.

NOTE: Slightly countersink each hole to prevent

gel coat cracking.

7.6. Using the marine sealant, fill each of the holes made

in step 7.5.2.

7.7. Using the drill with 1/8” Phillips head bit and

hardware supplied, secure the bracket to the

freeboard.

NOTE: Use the longer screws (#10 X 2”) for the end

braces and the shorter screws (#10 X 1.5”)

for the middle brace.

7.8. Set the cooler in-place against the freeboard bracket.

7.9. Set the floor bracket in-place snugly against the

starboard bottom end of the cooler.

7.10. Using the pencil, mark the bracket’s position on the

deck at the end and along the back of the bracket.

7.11. Set the cooler aside and align the floor bracket

with the marks made in step 7.10.

7.12. Using the drill with 1/8” bit, mark the deck through

the holes in the floor bracket.

7.12.1. Remove the bracket and drill pilot holes at each

of the marks made in step 7.5.1.

NOTE: Slightly countersink each hole to prevent

gel coat cracking.

7.13. Using the marine sealant, fill the holes made in the

previous step.

7.14. Using the drill with the Phillips head bit and the

hardware (#10 X 1.5” screws) supplied, secure the

floor bracket to the deck.

7.15. Secure the cooler in-place by looping the bungee

around the handle and hooking it to the floor

bracket.
