These instructions detail the safe use, assembly and maintenance of

your product. Please read these instructions carefully and ensure that

they are followed at all times.

FOR SAFE USE:

• To reduce the risks of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS),

paediatricians recommend healthy infants to be placed on their backs to

sleep – unless otherwise advised by your physician.

• Never use an extra mattress as this may cause a child to become trapped

in the gap between the extra mattress, and the side of the folding cot, and

suffocate.

• Before use, ensure that the folding cot has been assembled correctly

in accordance with instructions and that all top rail locks are securely

engaged.

• Keep children away while assembling or disassembling the cot.

WARNING

• USE ONLY THE MATTRESS SUPPLIED BY THE MANUFACTURER,

INCORRECT MATTRESSES CAN CAUSE DEATH.

• USE ONLY ACCESSORIES AS RECOMMENDED BY THE SUPPLIER.

• ENSURE THE TOP RAILS AND BASE ARE FULLY LOCKED.

• DO NOT USE THIS COT IF ANY PART OF THE COT IS BROKEN, TORN

OR MISSING.

• THIS BASSINET SHOULD BE REMOVED BEFORE THE CHILD CAN SIT

UP.

• NEVER PLACE A CHILD IN THE COT WHEN THIS BASSINET IS IN

PLACE.

• NEVER LEAVES CHILD UNATTENDED.

• NEVER PLACE A CHILD IN THE COT WHEN THE CHANGETABLE IS IN

PLACE.

• ALWAYS USE THE HARNESS WHEN USING THE CHANGETABLE.

• Never allow young children to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the

folding cot.

• Do not leave anything in the folding cot (such as toys) that provide a

foothold to enable the child to climb out.

• Do not use the folding cot near naked heat sources, bar heaters, open res

or exposed ames.

• Keep the folding cot clear of trailing cables and hanging cords.

• Keep medication and small items that a child could choke on away from

the cot.

• Discontinue the use of the cot if the material cover of the padded rim has

been bitten through or torn.

• Do not leave the folding cot outdoors exposed to direct sunlight.

• Do not place more than one child in the folding cot at the same time.

• Do not try and move the folding cot while a child is in it.

• This product is not intended for commercial use.

• To avoid danger of suffocation, keep any plastic bags away from babies

and children.

• Suitable for 1 child up to 14kg in weight.

• This folding cot has been approved for use with the mattress #QX-807,

bassinet #QX-807-BA, and changetable #QX-807-CT.

Step 1: unfold the portacot

• Move the four corners apart (Figure 1c),

to the position (Figure 1d).

• Remove the portacot from the carry bag.

(Figure 1a).

• Stand the portacot upright, release velcro

tabs and set the mattress aside. (Figure 1b).

• Grasp the centre of the two shorter top

frame rails (Figure 1e), and lift upwards

until they click into place (Figure 1f).

• Repeat this step for the two long top rails

(Figure 1g).

• Check that the top rails are fully locked by

pressing down on the centre of each rail

(Figure 1h).

• Push down on the raised centre mechanism

(Figure1i),untilthebaseisatandthelock

clicks shut.

It’s important to make sure the top

rails are fully locked and secure before

moving on. If rails have not locked,

repeat Figures 1f and 1g (page 7).

Step 2: secure the mattress

• Place mattress into the portacot with the

padded side up (Figure 2a).

• Secure each end of the mattress to the cot

by threading the velcro tabs on the mattress

through the corresponding slits in the

portacot base (Figure 2b), and securing on

the under side.

Step 3: installing the bassinette

• Remove the mattress from the portacot

and put it aside.

• Place the bassinette into the portacot.

• Engage all secondary bassinette clips

onto the portacot rim (Figure 3a).

• Fix the bassinette to the portacot corners

by stretching the bassinette corner fabric

over the corners of the portacot.

• Select the 2 support rods with reduced

ends (A).

• Place the rods into the sewn pockets with

the reduced ends towards the centre of

the bassinette (Figure 3b).

• Place the remaining 2 rods (B) into the

opposite pockets.

• Slide the ends of the rods together so

that one is inserted inside the other

(Figure 3c).

• Place the mattress into the bassinette

with its padded side on top. Press down

• Secure each end of the mattress

to the cot by threading the velcro

tabs on the mattress through

the corresponding slits in the

bassinette base (Figure 3d), and

securing on the under side.

To easily access the bassinette base slits

after the mattress has been inserted,

unclip the corner of the bassinette, and

reach your hand in underneath.

• Release the velcro tabs from the underside of the bassinette.

• Remove the mattress from the bassinette.

• Release the bassinette fabric from the corner mouldings of the portacot.

• Remove the secondary clips from around the top rim of the portacot

and lift the bassinette from the portacot.

• Separate the rods and remove them from the sewn pockets.

WARNING:

• TO PREVENT FALLS, THE BASSINET MUST NOT BE USED ONCE

A CHILD CAN SIT UP.

• NEVER PLACE A CHILD IN THE COT WHEN THE BASSINET IS IN

PLACE.

• Ensure each of the two support rods

is within the pockets sewn into the

portacot changetable. If they are not,

slide them through (Figure 4a).

• Position the changetable on the rails

of the portacot to align it with the press

studs located at one end of the portacot.

• Push the clips at each end of the two

supportrodsrmlyontotheportacottop

rails, then attach press studs (Figure 4b).

• Repeat steps for both support rods, on

both ends of each support rod.

• Pullthechangetablesideapoverthe

end of the portacot.

• Thechangetablesideapisattached

to the portacot by three press studs on

theundersideoftheap,(Figure4d).

• The adjustable safety strap is provided

to restrain your child whilst changing

(Figure 4e).

• To tighten, pull the tail of the webbing

(A). To extend, tilt the adjuster (B).

• The buckle is released by squeezing

the buckle tongues together.

• Ensure both bassinette and

changetable are removed.

• Release the velcro tabs from the

underside of the portacot base

and remove the mattress.

• Lift the centre of the mattress

base frame until it is approximately

500mmabovetheoor(Figure5a).

• Unlockeachsiderailbyrst

whilst still lifting, squeezing the

lock release button (Figure 5b).

• Lift the centre of the base frame

as high as possible (Figure 5c).

• Press Red wheel lock down to lock the portacot wheel.

• Lift Red wheel lock up to unlock the portacot wheel.

Before placing your child in

the portacot, apply the brakes.

care and maintenance

• Always store portacot indoors in a clean and dry place.

• Check regularly for loose, damaged or broken parts, these should be tightened if

loose and replaced if damaged or broken.

• Removable covers may be hand washed or spot cleaned. Wash separately.

• Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not tumble dry. Dry in the shade thoroughly

before storage or use and avoid direct heath and exposure to sunlight.
