These instructions detail the safe use, assembly and maintenance of
your product. Please read these instructions carefully and ensure that
they are followed at all times.

FOR SAFE USE:
• To reduce the risks of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS),
paediatricians recommend healthy infants to be placed on their backs to
sleep – unless otherwise advised by your physician.
• Never use an extra mattress as this may cause a child to become trapped
in the gap between the extra mattress, and the side of the folding cot, and
suffocate.
• Before use, ensure that the folding cot has been assembled correctly
in accordance with instructions and that all top rail locks are securely
engaged.
• Keep children away while assembling or disassembling the cot.
WARNING
• USE ONLY THE MATTRESS SUPPLIED BY THE MANUFACTURER,
INCORRECT MATTRESSES CAN CAUSE DEATH.
• USE ONLY ACCESSORIES AS RECOMMENDED BY THE SUPPLIER.
• ENSURE THE TOP RAILS AND BASE ARE FULLY LOCKED.
• DO NOT USE THIS COT IF ANY PART OF THE COT IS BROKEN, TORN
OR MISSING.
• THIS BASSINET SHOULD BE REMOVED BEFORE THE CHILD CAN SIT
UP.

• Never allow young children to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the
folding cot.
• Do not leave anything in the folding cot (such as toys) that provide a
foothold to enable the child to climb out.
• Do not use the folding cot near naked heat sources, bar heaters, open res
or exposed ames.
• Keep the folding cot clear of trailing cables and hanging cords.
• Keep medication and small items that a child could choke on away from
the cot.
• Discontinue the use of the cot if the material cover of the padded rim has
been bitten through or torn.
• Do not leave the folding cot outdoors exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not place more than one child in the folding cot at the same time.
• Do not try and move the folding cot while a child is in it.
• This product is not intended for commercial use.
• To avoid danger of suffocation, keep any plastic bags away from babies
and children.
• Suitable for 1 child up to 14kg in weight.
• This folding cot has been approved for use with the mattress #QX-807,
bassinet #QX-807-BA, and changetable #QX-807-CT.

• Move the four corners apart (Figure 1c),
to the position (Figure 1d).

• Stand the portacot upright, release velcro
tabs and set the mattress aside. (Figure 1b).

until they click into place (Figure 1f).

Step 2: secure the mattress
• Place mattress into the portacot with the
padded side up (Figure 2a).
• Secure each end of the mattress to the cot
by threading the velcro tabs on the mattress
through the corresponding slits in the
portacot base (Figure 2b), and securing on
the under side.

Step 3: installing the bassinette
• Remove the mattress from the portacot
and put it aside.
• Place the bassinette into the portacot.
• Engage all secondary bassinette clips
onto the portacot rim (Figure 3a).
• Fix the bassinette to the portacot corners
by stretching the bassinette corner fabric
over the corners of the portacot.
• Select the 2 support rods with reduced
ends (A).
• Place the rods into the sewn pockets with
the reduced ends towards the centre of
the bassinette (Figure 3b).
• Place the remaining 2 rods (B) into the
opposite pockets.
• Slide the ends of the rods together so
that one is inserted inside the other
(Figure 3c).
• Place the mattress into the bassinette
with its padded side on top. Press down

unclip the corner of the bassinette, and
reach your hand in underneath.

• Release the velcro tabs from the underside of the bassinette.
• Remove the mattress from the bassinette.
• Release the bassinette fabric from the corner mouldings of the portacot.
• Remove the secondary clips from around the top rim of the portacot
and lift the bassinette from the portacot.
• Separate the rods and remove them from the sewn pockets.
WARNING:
• TO PREVENT FALLS, THE BASSINET MUST NOT BE USED ONCE
A CHILD CAN SIT UP.
• NEVER PLACE A CHILD IN THE COT WHEN THE BASSINET IS IN
PLACE.

• Ensure each of the two support rods
is within the pockets sewn into the
portacot changetable. If they are not,
slide them through (Figure 4a).
• Position the changetable on the rails
of the portacot to align it with the press
studs located at one end of the portacot.
• Push the clips at each end of the two

changetable are removed.
• Release the velcro tabs from the
underside of the portacot base
and remove the mattress.
• Lift the centre of the mattress
base frame until it is approximately

• Always store portacot indoors in a clean and dry place.
• Check regularly for loose, damaged or broken parts, these should be tightened if
loose and replaced if damaged or broken.
• Removable covers may be hand washed or spot cleaned. Wash separately.
• Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not tumble dry. Dry in the shade thoroughly
before storage or use and avoid direct heath and exposure to sunlight.
