3. Components of the DB-620 display
3.1 DB-620 display segments
Introduction
The DB-620 display consists of four segments w h ich are the basic building blocks of the display. The four segments of the DB-620
display are different from each other. So, each segm ent has its own place in the display. The four display segments must be
assembled together to form one big display. Afterwards the whole assembly is mounted on the s upport structure using the clamps.
Image 3-2
For transportation reasons, the four display segments are sec ured in a frame work which can be placed inside a container. Two

3.2 Clamps
Introduction
The clamps are us ed to moun t the display as sem bly onto the s upport structure. In order to answer to different types of support
structures, the are two different types of clam ps.
Using six vertical I-beams as support s tructure
This cong uration is presume d to be the standard conguration. In this manual, this type of clamps will be
used to explain the mounting process of the DB-620 display on the support structure.
For the successful assembly of the DB-620 display, a minimum of 6 vertical I-beams each using 6 clamps is required. To ans wer to
different vertical mounting distances, the clamps are m ounted into a rail s ystem inside the DB-620
display structure.
Each clamp h as 4 correction plates (A) to compensate potential vertical variation in I-beam alignment.
A
Image 3-4
Using an existing support structure consisting of horizontal I-beams
The installation method using this type of clamps is similar to the m ethod using the standard clamps.
These clamps are used to mount the DB-620 display upon an ex isting suppo rt structure which c onsists of horizontal I-beams.
