28mm Fountain #2
B28-ST-146
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
Take the discs shown above and the spindle from the
sprue. These are 35mm, 25mm and 2 x 15mm.
Glue them together as shown.
Take the base and sides of the lower pool.
Glue them together as shown.
Then attach them to the spindle.
The next set of discs (in order of use)

Glue these onto the spindle.
The top pool and two remaining discs.
Glue the edge to the pool.
The attach it to the spindle, followed by the last two
discs.
The finished model.
Painting
After the model was assembled, we sprayed ours with a black car undercoat primer then dry brushed it with three shades
of grey (DIY emulsion paint).
The water was painted navy blue before being dry brushed with an ice blue colour both model paints.
Once dry, the water had a layer of gloss varnish applied to it.
