and simplify the using of our products. We hope that this product will give you complete satisfaction.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.
A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure
that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed, we
refuse any responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use
or a bad manipulation.
1. Before connecting your appliance, assure that the voltage
of your place of residence corresponds to that indicated on
the descriptive plate of the appliance.
2. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they
understand the hazards involved.
3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children aged less than 8 years

5. CAUTION: There is a risk of potential injury from misuse.
6. CAUTION: The heating element surface is subject to residual
heat after use.
7. Appliance must not be immersed.
8. The appliance should only be connected to an earthed
socket. Make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the local mains voltage before plugging in.
9. Never let the machine operate while unattended.
10. The supply cord should be regularly examined for signs of
damage. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly (*)
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Never try to
open the casing yourself.
11. Never use the appliance outdoors and always place it in a
dry environment.
12. Always remove the plug from the socket in case of any
malfunction, before filling or after use, or before cleaning.
13. Do not allow the appliance or its supply cord to touch hot
surfaces or to come into contact with any heat sources.
14. Never unplug or move the appliance by pulling the cord. Do
not wind the cord around the appliance or twist it.
15. Stand the appliance on a stable, flat surface.
16. Be careful not to get burnt by the steam evaporating from
the filter.
17. Never use your coffee maker without water in it. Only use
fresh and cold water to brew coffee.
18. Never fill the water tank beyond the Max. Level. Do not use

your coffee maker in case of overflowing.
19. Never put the coffee maker in an oven (including microwave
oven) to warm up the coffee.
20. Do not forget that the temperature of the coffee prepared
is high, handle with care the jug to avoid scalding.
21. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the
manufacturer. They could constitute a danger to the user
and risk to damage the appliance.
22. Always set any control to “off” before unplugging from the
socket.
23. Make sure the ambient temperature is above 0°C,
otherwise the appliance does not function properly.
24. Always descale the appliance regularly to ensure optimum
performance and prevent malfunction.
25. Make sure cool down before cleaning or storing the
appliance.
26. The appliance may give off some smoke and smell when you
use it for the first a few times because of the oil on some
parts, it will disappear after a few times uses.
27. This kind of appliance cannot function continuously, it is not
a professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make
temporary stops.
28. It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all
times as it comes into direct contact with food.
29. Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact
with food, thanks to refer to the below paragraph
“cleaning” in the manual.

30. Make sure the appliance is unplugged before inserting,
removing or cleaning one of the accessories. It is absolutely
necessary to remove the accessories before cleaning them.
31. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of
external timer or separate remote control system.
32. Never used the appliance :
- If the power cord is damaged
- In case of bad operation
- It has been damaged in any manner
- It has been submerged in water
- If you dropped it
33. To reduce the risk of electric shock, never operate this
product with wet hands.
34. Unwind the cord of its flat to avoid the superheating of the
appliance.
35. Never use cord or connector other than that supplied with
the appliance.
36. Avoid spillage on the connector.
37. The coffee maker should not be placed inside furniture
when in use.
38. CAUTION: Do not use the device if the surface is cracked.
39. This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environments
- farm houses

- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments
- bed and breakfast type environments.

who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In

SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING : HOT SURFACE
Surfaces can be very hot when
appliance is operating
Positioning the unit: Leave at least 15
centimeters of space on each side of the unit.
Do not place any object on the unit while it is
working. Always pour water into the tank
before turning on your appliance.
The appliance may become hot during use, so
there is a danger of burning! DO NOT touch the
hot parts, use the handles to move the unit. Be
careful of strong heat and steam when
removing the cover.
Never carry or empty the appliance when it is
hot, wait for it to cool down.
Never carry the appliance when it is full.

THIS APPLIANCE IS EQUIPPED WITH PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING. This safety is
triggered when the device is without water (thermal circuit breaker). To reset the unit,
wait for it to cool down and press the button under the base of the unit (do not press
too hard, it is normal for a metal rod to protrude).
USE OF THE APPLIANCE
Before first use:
When using for first time, don’t worry if a slight smoke and odor appear, they disappear very quickly.
It’s advisable to boil about 5L water in the appliance before using it for the first time.
Open the lid and pour in water, do not fill the water and coffee boiler over the max water lever
indicator.
Plug the unit into the convenience outlet:
If you only want to boil water, place the percolator tube and the filter basket in the tank.
Pour water up to the water level indicator.
If you want to brew coffee, place the percolator tube and the filter basket in the tank and
put the desired amount of coffee. Do not fill water over the filter basket.
Install and lock the cover of the appliance.
Press the bouton on “ON” position, the heating indicator will light up and the water starts to
heat up.
Once the heat indicator turns OFF and KEEP WARM indicator turns ON, it means coffee or water
is ready and stays warm automatically about 45 minutes.
When the liquid level indicates that the tank is empty, tilt the brewer slightly forward to benefit
from the remaining coffee in the bottom of the tank (level below the tap).
Press the “OFF” button at the end of use and unplug the unit.
Note: Make sure that the percolator tube is fitted inside the water and coffee boiler? Otherwise, it
will not work properly.
Tips:
It is recommended to use ground coffee. Preferably do at least half the capacity of the appliance.
Quantity of coffee
The amount of coffee and / or water is variable according to your own taste
- For 5L of water, 1 bag of 250 grams of coffee
- For 10L of water, 2 bags of 250 grams of coffee

TO PREHEAT COFFEE
1. Check well there’s the equivalent of one liter in the tank.
2. Remove percolator tube and the filter.
3. Plug the appliance into a wall outlet and press the ON button
CLEANING AFTER USE
1. Before cleaning, disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the filter basket, the percolator tube and empty the contents of the basket into a bin.
3. Rinse the filter basket and percolator tube with a non-abrasive detergent and a soft sponge, then
rinse thoroughly.
4. Rinse the inside of the tank, several times if necessary.
5. Dissemble the tap for cleaning (soapy water + rinse with cleat water). Unscrew the faucet by
turning counterclockwise, disassemble the faucet head? After cleaning the faucet, replace it
without forcing the threads and check for seal. Run water through the tap to rinse it as well.
6. It is advisable to descale the machine regularly.
7. Do not use sodium bicarbonate to clean your percolator.
Correct disposal of the unit

old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream.
Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the
materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The symbol of the crossed out dustbin is marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collection.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their product.
