To enter Setup mode

, press and hold FAN, then simultaneously press and hold k
and j for about five seconds. The display shows the Temperature Scale function
(FC).

In Setup mode, press MODE until the infiNET ID (MNET ID)
function is displayed (id). Use k and j to choose the infiNET
ID. Press MODE to select the infiNET RF Channel (CH). Note
that the function displays shown here are not consecutive.
Basic infiNET™ Setup
Use k or j to choose the temperature units: F (Fahrenheit),
C1 (Celcius, whole degree set points), or C2 (Celcius, half
degree set points). Then press MODE twice until the
Heat/Cool function is displayed (HC).
Use k and j to choose between Heat/Cool (HC), S (HP), and
Dual-Fuel Heat Pump (dF) functions. Then press MODE repeat-
edly until the Power Source function is displayed (Po).
Use k and j to choose between 24V always available
(24) and ”steal power (SP) modes.
Use k and j to choose 11 - 26 for fixed-channel operation,
(AU) for auto channel, or (0) to disable the radio. Press MODE
until the Start infiNET Acquire function is displayed (AC).

Press the MODE button to cycle the unit
through available modes: Off, Heat,
Emergency Heat (for heat pump and dual-fuel
systems), Cool, and Auto.

Mode changes take place upon release of
the MODE button.
The selected mode becomes operational
three seconds after the mode has been
entered.
Press the FAN button to toggle between Fan
Auto and Fan Always On modes.
The fan icon is always displayed. (It may
blink to indicate an infiNET communication
problem. )

When set to Fan Auto, the fan operates only
when there is a cool or heat call.

In system Off mode, the fan will still run if
set to Fan Always On mode.
Press MODE and FAN simultaneously to enter
Hold mode. Hold mode ignores scheduled set
point values from the control system.
Use the k and j buttons to choose the
desired temperature set point.

Press Acquire on the gateway: the Acquire LED should light.
Press k or j to start the acquire process: display shows
flashing
- - (in progress). When finished, display shows 00
(finished, found gateway) or E# (finished, could not find
gateway), where # represents an error code.
Install two AA batteries in the battery compartment.

After the process is complete, press Acquire on the gateway
again to exit the Acquire mode. Press FAN on the thermostat to
exit Setup mode.

1. Expected battery life is 1 year using quality alkaline batteries.
2. Refer to the Operations & Installation Guide, Doc. 6490, for detailed information on setup and operating modes.
3. Thermostat firmware v1.005.0005 or later required for Auto Mode support. Auto Mode must be enabled via Setup Mode.
4. Fan will only run during heat calls if the thermostat has been configured to do so.
