directly to drywall or to a single-gang
box in accordance with accepted
building codes and practices. If
using the single-gang box, be sure
to fill it with thermal insulation
material.

Wiring
Connect the thermostat using the wiring configurations shown below as a guide. Place the jumper on the lower two
pins. For more information, refer to the CHV-TSTAT-FCU-HOTEL Operations & Installation Guide (Doc. 7543).

To enter Setup mode, press and hold °F / °C and FAN for about 5 seconds.
The display shows the setup screens. Refer to the CHV-TSTAT-FCU-HOTEL
Operations & Installation Guide (Doc. 7543) for detailed information on setup
and operating modes.
Basic Thermostat Setup

System Modes and Fan Operation
Press the FAN button to cycle the unit
through available speeds: FAN AUTO,
FAN HIGH, FAN MEDIUM, FAN LOW, and
OFF.
• Fan speed changes take place upon
release of the FAN button.
• The selected fan speed becomes
operational 3 seconds after the mode has
been entered.
• The fan operates only when there is a
cool or heat call.
Press the °F/°C button to toggle the display
between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
Use the k and j buttons to choose the
desired temperature set point.
