JUNCTION BOX / WALL CEILING MOUNT
1. Remove backplate by depressing the two tabs on the bottom.
2. Feed fixture leads through backplate.
3. All electical connections should be made inside junction box.
Make Electrical Connections as follows:
Note: Cap unused leads to prevent shorting.
4. Mount backplate to junction box using appropriate hardware (provided by others).
5. Connect battery only after continuous AC power can be provided to the unit.
6. Align tabs and push housing directly onto backplate.

• Do not use outdoors.
• Equipment should be mounted in locations and at heights where it will not be readily subjected to tampering
by unauthorized personnel.
• The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
• Any modification or use of non-original components will void the warranty and product liability.
• Do not use this equipment for other than intended use.
• Allow battery to charge for 24 hours before first use.

OPERATION
1. During an electrical power failure, the lamps will automatically activate of a minimum of 90 minute.
2. The unit also provides manual testing by pressing the test button in a specific pattern. The test patterns are
defined below.
REMOTE LAMP ELECTRICAL CONFIGURATIONS
For Remote Lamp Installation
1. Move remote jumper to the “Y” position.
2. Connect remote lamp to the fourth connector.
Note: During the recharge period, a faint light from the LED lamp heads may be visible in a dark environment.
This is normal, and does not affect the operation of the light.
Press test button once (within 2 seconds) 30 second test - Green flashing
Press test button twice (within 2 seconds) 15 minute test - Green blinking twice
Press test button 3 times (within 2 seconds) 90 minute test - Green blinking 3 times
