1 ÒÅÕÍÈÊÀ ÁÅÇÎÏÀÑÍÎÑÒÈ
Ïîëüçîâàòåëè ñâàðî÷íîãî îáîðóäîâàíèÿ ESAB îòâå÷àþò çà âûïîëíåíèå ïðàâèë òåõíèê è
áåçîïàñíîñòè ëèöàìè, ðàáîòàþùèìè íà îáîðóäîâàíèè è ðÿäîì ñ íèì. Ïðàâèëà òåõíèêè
áåçîïàñíîñòè äîëæíû îòâå÷àòü òðåáîâàíèÿì ê áåçîïàñíîé ýêñïëóàòàöèè ñâàðî÷íîãî
îáîðóäîâàíèÿ ýòîãî òèïà. Ïîìèìî ñòàíäàðòíûõ ïðàâèë òåõíèêè áåçîïàñíîñòè è îõðàíû
òðóäà íà ðàá î÷åì ìåñòå ðåêîìåíäóåòñÿ ñëåäóþùåå.
Âñå ðàáîòû äîëæíû âûïîëíÿòüñÿ ïîäãîòîâëåííûìè ëèöàìè, çíàêîìûìè ñ ýêñïëóàòàöèåé
ñâàðî÷íîãî îáîðóäîâàíèÿ. Íåïðàâèëüíàÿ ýêñïëóàòàöèÿ îáîðóäîâàíèÿ ìîæåò âûçâàòü
îïàñíûì ñèòóàöèè, ïðèâîäÿùèå ê òðàâìèðîâàíèþ ïåðñîíàëà è ïîâðåæäåíèþ
îáîðóäîâàíèÿ.

íàïðèìåð, çàùèòíûå î÷êè, îãíåñòîéêóþ ñïåöîäåæäó è çàùèòíûå ðóêàâèöû.
S Ïðè ñâàðêå çàïðåùàåòñÿ íîñèòü ñâîáîäíóþ îäåæäó, óêðàøåíèÿ è ò.ä., íàïðèìåð,
øàðôû, áðàñëåòû, êîëüöà, êîòîðûå ìîãóò ïîïàñòü â ñâàðî÷íîå îáîðóäîâàíèå èëè
âûçâàò ü îæîãè.
5. Îáùèå ìåðû ïðåäîñòîðîæíîñòè
S Ïðîâåðüòå íàäåæíîñòü ïîäêëþ÷åíèÿ îáðàòíîãî êàáåëÿ.
S Ðàáîòû íà îáîðóäîâàíèè ñ âûñîêèì íàïðÿæåíèåì äîëæíû ïðîèçâîäèòüñÿ
òîëüêî êâàëèôèöèðîâàííûì ýëåêòðèêîì.
S Â ïðåäåëàõ äîñòóïà äîëæíû íàõîäèòüñÿ ñîîòâåòñòâóþùèå ñðåäñòâà
ïîæàðîòóøåíèÿ, èìåþùèå ÿñíóþ ìàðêèðîâêó.
S Çàïðåù àåòñÿ ïðîâîäèòü ñìàçêó è òåõíè÷åñêîå îáñëóæèâàíèå îáîðóäîâàíèå âî
âðåìÿ ýêñïëóàòàöèè.

èñïîëüçîâàíèåì êîìïëåêòà êîëåñ èëè áåç êîëåñ.

5.2 Ñîåäèíèòåëü äëÿ ïîäà÷è âîäû
Ïðè ïîäñîåäèíåíèè âîäîîõëàæäàåìîé ñâàðî÷íîé ãîðåëêè ãëàâíûé
ïåðåêëþ÷àòåëü èñòî÷íèêà ïèòàíèÿ äîëæåí íàõîäèòüñÿ â ïîëîæåíèè ”ÎÒÊË.”, à
ïåðåêëþ÷àòåëü áëîêà îõëàæäåíèÿ äîëæåí íàõîäèòüñÿ â ïîëîæåíèè “ELP/0”.
Áëîê ïîäà÷è ïðîâîëîêè ñ ñîåäèíèòåëåì ä ëÿ ïîäà÷è âîäû ñíàáæåí ñèñòåìîé
îáíàðóæåíèÿ ïîòîêà âîäû ELP (ESAB Logic Pump), êîòîðàÿ ïðîâåðÿåò,
ïîäñîåäèíåíû ëè øëàíãè ïîäà÷è âîäû. Ïîñëå ïîäñîåäèíåíèÿ âîäÿíîé íàñîñ
çàïóñêàå òñÿ àâòîìàòè÷åñêè.
Ñèñòåìà îáíàðóæåíèÿ âîäû ðàáîòàåò òîëüêî ñ èñòî÷íèêîì ïèòàíèÿ,
îáîðóäîâàííûì ñèñòåìîé ELP.
5.3 Îïèñàíèå ôóíêöèé
Âðåìÿ ïåðåõîäà äóãè
Âðåìÿ ïåðåõîäà äóãè ýòî çàäåðæêà ìåæäó ìîìåíòîì, ê îãäà íà÷èíàå òñÿ
ñíèæåíèå ñêîðîñòè ïîäà÷è ïðîâîëîêè, è ìîìåíòîì, êîãäà èñòî÷íèê ïèòàíèÿ
îòêëþ÷àåò ñâàðî÷íûé òîê. Ñëèøêîì êîðîòêîå âðåìÿ ïåðåõîäà äóãè ïðèâîäèò ê
îáðàçîâàíèþ ä ëèííîãî âûñò óïàþùåãî êîíöà ïðèñàäî÷íîé ïðîâîëîêè, â
ðåçóëü òàòå ÷åãî âîçíèêàåò îïàñíîñòü òîãî, ÷òî ïðîâîëîêà îêàæåòñÿ âïëàâëåíà
â òâåðäåþùèé ñâàðî÷íûé øîâ. Ñëèøêîì ïðîäîëæèòåëüíîå âðåìÿ ïåðåõîäà
äóãè ïðèâîäèò ê îáðàçîâàíèþ êîðîòêîãî âûñòóïàþùåãî êîíöà, â ðåçóëüòàòå
÷åãî âîçíèêàåò îïàñíîñòü òîãî, ÷òî äóãà ïåðåêèíåòñÿ íà êîíòàêò-äåòàëü.
Çàïîëíåíèå êðàòåðà
Çàïîëíåíèå êðàòåðà ïîçâîëÿåò ïðåäîòâðàòèòü îáðàçîâàíèå ïîð, òåðìè÷åñêîå
ðàñòðåñêèâàíèå è îáðàçîâàíèå êðàòåðà â ñâàðíîì øâå, êîãäà ïðîöåññ ñâàðêè
ïðåêðàùàåòñÿ.

îòïóñêàåòñÿ, ïðåêðàùàåòñÿ ïîäà÷à ãàçà.
Çàïóñê ìåäëåííîé ïîäà÷è
Çàïóñê ìåäëåííîé ïîäà÷è îçíà÷àåò, ÷òî ïðîâîëîêà ïîäàåòñÿ ñ ìàëîé
ñêîðîñòüþ, ïîêà îíà íàõîäèòñÿ â ñîñòîÿíèè ýëåêòðè÷åñêîãî êîíòàêòà ñ
çàãîòîâêîé, ïîñëå ÷åãî ñêîðîñòü óâåëè÷èâàåòñÿ äî çàäàííîé óñòàâêè.
Ñêîðîñòü ïîäà÷è ïðîâîëîêè
Ýòîò ïàðàìåòð îïðåäåëÿåò òðåáóåìóþ ñêîðîñòü ïîäà÷è ïðèñàäî÷íîé
ïðîâîëîêè â ì/ìèí.
5.4 Äàâëåíèå ïîäà÷è ïðîâîëîêè
Ïðåæäå âñåãî óáåäèò å ñü â ò îì, ÷òî ïðîâîëîêà áåñïðåïÿòñòâåííî äâèæåòñÿ
÷åðåç íàïðàâëÿþùèå. Ïîñëå ýòîãî óñòàíîâèòå óñèëèå, ñîçäàâàåìîå
ðîëèêàìè ïîäà÷è ïðîâîëîêè. Ïîìíèòå, ÷òî ýòî óñèëèå íå äîëæíî áûòü
÷ðåçìåðíûì.

Äëÿ ïðîâåðêè ïðàâèëüíîñòè óñòàíîâêè óñèëèÿ ïîäà÷è ïîìåñòèòå êàêîé-ëèáî
òâåðäûé ïðåäìåò, íàïðèìåð, äåðåâÿííûé áðóñîê í à ïóòè ïîäà÷è ï ðîâîëîêè.
Ïðè ðàññòîÿíèè ïðèìåðíî 5 ìì îò ïèñòîëåòà ä ëÿ ïîäà÷è ïðîâîëîêè äî
äåðåâÿííîãî áðóñêà (ðèñ. 1) ïîäàþùèå ðîëèêè äîëæíû ïðîñêàëüçûâàòü.
Ïðè ðàññòîÿíèè ïðèìåðíî 50 ìì ïðîâîëîêà äîëæíà ïîäàâàòüñÿ è ñãèáàòüñÿ
ïðè óïîðå â áðóñîê (ðèñ. 2).

5.5 Ñìåíà / çàãðóçêà ïðîâîëîêè â áëîê ESABFeed 30
S Îòêðîéòå áîêîâóþ ïàíåëü.
S Îòñîåäèíèòå äàò÷èê äàâëåíèÿ, îòêèíóâ åãî íàçàä, ïðè ýòîì íàæèìíûå
ðîëèêè ïåðåäâèíóòñÿ ââåðõ.
S Âûïðÿìèòå íîâóþ ïðîâîëîêó íà äëèíå 10-20 ñì. Ïðåæäå ÷åì ââîäèòü åå â
áëîê ïîäà÷è ïðîâîëîêè, óäàëèòå íàïè ëüíèêîì ñ òîðöà ïðîâîëîêè
çàóñåíöû è îñòðûå êðîìêè.
S Óáåäèòåñü â òîì, ÷òî ïðîâîëîêà ïðàâèëüíî ïîäàåòñÿ â êàíàâêó ïîäàþùåãî
ðîëèêà è â âûïóñêíóþ íàñàäêó èëè íàïðàâëÿþùóþ äëÿ ïðîâîëîêè.
S Çàêðåïèòå äàò÷èê äàâëåíèÿ.
S Çàêðîéòå áîêîâóþ ïàíåëü.
5.6 Ñìåíà / çàãðóçêà ïðîâîëîêè â áëîê ESABFeed 48
S Îòêðîéòå áîêîâóþ ïàíåëü.
S Ïðèæìèòå ïðèæèìíîå óñòðîéñòâî (1) âíèç è ïîòÿíèòå åãî ê ñåáå è ââåðõ.
S Âûò àùèòå êàðåòêó.
S Âûïðÿìèòå íîâóþ ïðîâîëîêó íà äëèíå 10-20 ñì. Ïðåæäå ÷åì ââîäèòü åå â
áëîê ïîäà÷è ïðîâîëîêè, óäàëèòå íàïè ëüíèêîì ñ òîðöà ïðîâîëîêè
çàóñåíöû è îñòðûå êðîìêè.
S Óáåäèòåñü â òîì, ÷òî ïðîâîëîêà ïðàâèëüíî ïîäàåòñÿ â êàíàâêó ïîäàþùåãî
ðîëèêà è â âûïóñêíóþ íàñàäêó èëè íàïðàâëÿþùóþ äëÿ ïðîâîëîêè.
S Ïîñò àâüòå êàðåòêó íà ìåñòî.
S Çàêðîéòå áîêîâóþ ïàíåëü.
5.7 Çàìåíà ïîäàþùèõ ðîëèêîâ íà áëîêå ESABFeed 30
S Îòêðîéòå áîêîâóþ ïàíåëü.
S Îòñîåäèíèòå äàò÷èê äàâëåíèÿ (1), îòîãíóâ åãî
íàçàä. Ïðèæèìíûå ðîëèêè ñìåñòÿòñÿ ââåðõ.
S Îòñîåäèíèòå ïðèæèìíûå ðîëèêè (2), ïîâåðíóâ
îñü (3) íà 1/4 îáîðîòà ïî ÷àñîâîé ñòðåëêå è
âûòÿíóâ åå. Îòñîåäèíèòå ïðèæèìíûå ðîëèêè.
S Îòñîåäèíèòå ïîäàþùèå ðîëèêè (4), îòâèíòèâ ãàéêè
(5) è âûòÿíóâ ðîëèêè íàðóæó.
Äëÿ óñòàíîâêè ïîâòîðèòå âûøåîïèñàííûå îïåðàöèè â
îáðàòíîì ïîðÿäêå .
Âûáîð êàíàâîê â ïîäàþùèõ ðîëèêàõ
Ïîâåðíèòå ïîäàþùèé ðîëèê òàê, ÷òîáû ðàçìåðíàÿ ìåòêà
òðåáóåìîé êàíàâêè áûëà îáðàùåíà ê âàì.

S Äëÿ îáåñïå÷åíèÿ áåñïåðåáîéíîé ïîäà÷è ïðîâîëîêè ñëåäóåò ñ
óñòàíîâëåíîé ïåðèîäè÷íîñòüþ âûïîëíÿòü î÷èñòêó è çàìåíó
èçíàøèâàåìûõ êîìïîíåíòîâ ìåõàíèçìà áëîêà ïîäà÷è. Èìåéòå ââèäó, ÷òî
åñëè ïðåäâàðèòåëüíîå íàòÿæåíèå óñòàíîâëåíî ñëèøêîì ñèëüíûì, òî ýòî
ìîæåò ïðèâåñòè ê ïîâûøåííîìó èçíîñó ïðèæèìíûõ ðîëèêîâ, ïîäàþùèõ

2SAFETY
Users of ESAB welding equipment have the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that anyone who
works on or near the equipment observes all the relevant safety precautions. Safety precautions
must meet the requirements that apply to this type of welding equipment. The following recommen-
dations should be observed in addition to the standard regulations that apply to the workplace.
All work must be carried out by trained personnel well--acquainted with the operation of the welding
equipment. Incorrect operation of the equipment may lead to hazardous situations which can result
in injury to the operator and damage to the equipment.
1. Anyone who uses the welding equipment must be familiar with:
S its operation
S location of emergency stops
S its function
S relevant safety precautions
S welding
2. The operator must ensure that:
S no unauthorized person is stationed within the working area of the equipment when it is
started up.
S no--one is unprotected when the arc is struck
3. The workplace must:
S be suitable for the purpose
S be free from drafts
4. Personal safety equipment
S Always wear recommended personal safety equipment, such as safety glasses, flame--proof
clothing, safety gloves.
S Do not wear loose--fitting items, such as scarves, bracelets, rings, etc., which could become
trapped or cause burns.
5. General precautions
S Make sure the return cable is connected securely.
S Work on high voltage equipment may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
S Appropriate fire extinquishing equipment must be clearly marked and close at hand.
S Lubrication and maintenance must not be carried out on the equipment during operation.

3 INTRODUCTION
The ESABFeed 30--4 and ESABFeed 48--4 wire feed
units with control panel M13 are intended for MIG/MAG--
welding together with infinitely adjustable welding power
sources.
They come in different variants, see on page 27.
The wire feed units are sealed and contain four--wheel
drive wire feed mechanisms as well as control electronics.
They can be used together with wire on ESAB’s
MarathonPact, or on wire bobbin (standard Ø 300 mm, accessory Ø 440 mm).
The wire feed unit can be installed either at the power source, suspended above the
workplace, on a support arm or on the floor with or without wheel set.
ESAB’s accessories for the product can be found on page 32.

Duty cycle
The duty cycle refers to the time as a percentage of a ten--minute period that you can weld at a cer-
tain load without overloading.
Enclosure class
The IP code indicates the enclosure class, i. e. the degree of protection against penetration by solid
objects or water. Equipment marked IP23 is designed for indoor and outdoor use.

5.1 Lifting instructions
Ordering number for the lifting eye can be found on page 32.
Note! If another mounting device is used, this should be insulated from the wire feed
unit.
6OPERATION
General safety regulations for the handling of the equipment can be found on
page 16. Read through before you start using the equipment!
WARNING!
Assure that the side panels are closed during operation.
To prevent the reel from sliding off the hub: Lock the reel in place by
turning the red knob as shown on the warning label attached next to
the hub.

Rotating parts can cause injury, take great care.
WARNING!
There is a risk of tipping if the wire feed unit is fitted with a counterbalance arm. Secure the
equipment, especially if used on an uneven or sloping surface.
When moving the equipment use intended handle. NOTE! Never pull on the gun.
