PRIOR TO FITTING
1. Check that all the parts shown are included in the Kit.
2. Check the condition of each individual part.
3. Park the vehicle in a stable manner.
4. Take the key out of the ignition, allow the engine/exhaust to cool prior to installation.
5. Protect all parts removed from the vehicle.
6. Be careful not to damage any vehicle parts during fitting.

SUZUKI GENUINE ACCESSORIES
CAUTION
The condition to assemble parts is technical experience.
If you not sure if you do a special work step, you should ask your next SUZUKI dealer.
NOTE:
The vehicle’s original wiring is designed to connect directly up to the alarm system.
The two connectors (single-pole connector and four-pole connector closed with matching part)
are located on the left side midway along the vehicle, underneath the battery support.

Fitting Instructions
Photo 1: Connect the connector on the alarm’s harness up to the control unit, insert the rubber hood into
its housing (1) and secure it using a cable grip (2).

Clean the bottom of the control unit and stick down the double-sided adhesive tape provided in the kit (6).
Photo 2: Remove the main saddle (A).
Photo 3: Remove the two side fairings (B). Take off the battery shield by removing the two side clips (C).
Disconnect the main power supply cables, remove the solenoid starter and release the fuse box (D).
Photo 4: Remove the battery and the tool bag. Take off the plastic battery support by unscrewing the three
relative screws (E) and removing the fuse box (F).
Photo 5: Take hold of the plastic battery support (G) and turn it by 180 degrees (H); put the paper template
into position (I) previously cut as shown in the photograph (L) and drill two holes with a diameter of 4 mm.
Use double-sided adhesive tape to attach the alarm unit as shown in the photograph (M), securing it using
two plastic grips.
CAUTION:
The alarm loom must face to the right, as shown in the photograph (M).
CAUTION:
To avoid potential damage of the remote control while driving,
do not carry along
the remote control connected to the ignition key.
Photo 6: Replace the plastic battery support, complete with the alarm, replace the electric parts you
removed earlier, starter solenoid and fuse box, put the battery back on and reconnect the wiring (N).
Connect the two connectors on the vehicle for the alarm, after removing the link plug, with the matching
connectors on the alarm loom (O), lay out the section of alarm loom with the two 6-way connectors towards
the rear of the vehicle until it reaches the motor cycle’s 6-way connector; disconnect this and fit the alarm
connectors (P). Leave the section of alarm loom with the black, two-way connector for the LED close to the
tank.

When you are replacing the side fairings, connect up the two-way connector for the LED with the matching
connector located close to the tank.
Replace the plastic parts you removed earlier from both sides of the motorcycle.
