1. Check all items against Parts List to ensure all have been
included.
2. Install platform pad (1) onto wood platform of judge's stand,
using eighteen #12 x 3/4" lg. screws (8) thru grommets on upper
and lower flaps of pad. Pilot holes in wood platform are not
required. Begin with center section of platform pad, making
sure it is centered left-to-right, and snug against platform. After
center section is secured with six screws, attach end sections one at-a-time, by bending them 90q around the railing. Snug each
end section against the platform, and secure each end section with six screws. See Details "A" and "B".

3. NOTE – The judge's stand must NOT be installed on the volleyball post – it must be resting on the floor. Install clamp pads (7) to
clamp weldment on judge's stand – one at-a-time. The clamp pads are supplied with three mounting flaps – two with peel & stick
Velcro attachment strips, and one with a grommet. The grommet flap secures the pad to the railing – loosen the nuts (do not
remove the screw) and put the grommet flap over the screw that secures the clamp weldment to the judge's stand. Reinstall the
two nuts and tighten fully. The peel & stick Velcro strips are applied to the top and bottom of the clamp weldment. When the
Velcro strips are in place, the pad can be folded around the clamp and secured top and bottom with the Velcro flaps. Repeat for
the second clamp pad (7). See Detail "A".
4. Install railing pad foam (5 & 9) and railing pad cover (6 & 10) onto railings. See Details "A" and "C". Cover secures by means
of overlapping Velcro attachment flaps.
5. Install ladder pad foam (2) onto ladder sides on judge's stand, both sides. Wrap left-hand ladder pad cover (3) onto left-hand
ladder side. Repeat with right-hand ladder pad cover (4) on right-hand ladder side. See Details "A" and "C". Covers secure by
means of overlapping Velcro attachment flaps.
6. Installation of protective pads is now complete. See illustration above for view of completed installation.
