TAPE FOR FLOOR COVER SYSTEM

This tape is to be used to secure the vinyl floor sections from Porter's No. 2400 Floor

Cover System to each other.

In high-traffic areas (doorways, etc.), a separate runner should be used to cover the

edges of the vinyl floor sections. However, this tape can also be used in such areas if

necessary.

It is not necessary to clean the vinyl floor sections (or the floor) before applying this

tape.

All tapes and adhesives can be adversely affected by temperature and humidity

conditions, causing them to adhere poorly on the surfaces to which they are applied.

Before using this tape, it must be tested to make sure it will not leave a residue on the

vinyl floor sections (or on the floor) when removed. Test the tape in a hidden area of

the vinyl (and the floor) for several days before using.

If conditions exist that cause the tape to leave residue, then it is suggested that a base

layer of tape be applied to the edges of the vinyl floor sections. This base layer will

remain on the vinyl permanently. A separate strip of tape can then be used to

temporarily secure the vinyl floor sections during all subsequent applications.
