1Usinga16mmsocket,removetheboltssecuringtheinnermounngbracketstotherearcrossmember.

2Nowremovethe2boltssecuringtherearbumperoutermounngbrackets.Setasidetheseboltsastheywillbereused.

3Removefactoryrecoveryhookifequipped.Oneboltontheboomandtwothroughtheframe.Discardthenutplate.

KEEPBOLTS

4Pulloﬀfactorybumperandsetaside.

5InstallRoadArmorLogowithincluded#10StainlessBuonHeadBoltsandKepsNuts.

6InstallLightsasthisiseasiernowthanaerRoadArmorbumperhasbeeninstalled.

7Fitupandinstallincludedframebracketstooutsideofframeasshown.Included

nutplategoesinsideframe.Re‐usefactoryboltsfromStep2wherecircled.

IFYOUDONOTHAVETHETIRECARRIERROADARMORBUMPERSKIPTOSTEP17

8Removethesparerefromtailgateandsetitaside.

9Usinga13mmsocket,removethe8boltssecuringthesparerecarriermounttothetailgateandallowtohang.

10Ontheinsideofthetailgatenearthelatch,popouttheventedplascpiecetogainaccesstowiring.

STOP

11Pressdownontheplascclipandthenunplugthe3rdbrakelightwiringharnessandremovealongwiththepass

13AachStrikerPadwithtwo(2)1/4‐20CounterSunkScrewswith1/4”washerandNylocknutsontheinsideofbumper.

14AachTireCarrierarmbyﬁrstﬁngonebrassbushing(ﬂangedown)overthehingepin.Thenﬁttheopenendofthe

recarrierarmoverthebushingandbeginslidingthesecondbrassbusingdownoverthehingepin(ﬂangeup).Fitupthe

supportbracketandthreadthe1/2”BuonHeadthroughbracketintohingepin,butdonotghten.Now,usingthe3/8”

hardwareboltonthesupportbracket.Besuretogeteveryboltstartedbeforefullyghtening.

TIPThethree(3)3/8”buonheadboltsthatclampthebrassbushingsoverthehingepinadjusttheﬁrmnessoftheswing.

Donotoverghtentheseasyoucoulddamagethebushings,butghtenthemunlyouarehappywiththeresistance.

15Thethree1/2”Grade8boltstriangulateoverthewheelmountsha.Thisshaallowsforsomeinandoutadjustment.

Besuretocranktheseboltsdownandcheckthemperiodically!

16InstalltheincludedwheelstudsthroughtheholesasmarkedifyouhavestockJeepaxles.Theseholeswillneedtobe

drilledoutto5/8”usingastepbitifyouhaveone.x3

12AachLatchtoTireCarrierarmusingthefour(4)5/16”StainlessSteelBuonHeadBolts.

18FitupyournewRoad

ArmorBumperandstarta

washer,lockwasherand

nutovereachbolt.

Onceallnutsareﬁnger

ght,checkﬁtmentand

ghtenthemalldown.

Checkthatallthebracket

boltsarefullyghtaswell.

IFYOUHAVEANYINTERFERENCEISSUESWITHTHEFACTORYTOWHITCHRECEIVER

Pullthewiringharnessstraightdownandoutofit’smountandzipeitoutoftheway.

Removethe4boltssecuringthetowhitchreceivertotherearcrossmemberusingan18mmsocket.

Ifthetowhitchreceiverisdiﬃculttoremove,useaprybartoassistinremoval.

NowinstallbumperasinSTEP18,thenusingaﬂoorjackandablockofwood,re‐installthetowhitch.

TIRECARRIERASSEMBLED—CONTINUEFROMHERE

17InstalltheBoltTabsthroughbumperusingtheincludedkeeperwashers.Usea3/4”deepsockettopushthewashers

overthethreads.
