Polaroid 2351 is a flash unit designed for use with the Polaroid Model 1000 and OneStep Land cameras. It has a flash range of 1.2-2.7m (4-9 ft) and a flash duration of approximately 1/1000 second at 2.7m (9 ft.) to less than 1/1000 second at 1.2m (4 ft). The unit is powered by four 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, which should last for about 60 flashes. It has an On/Off switch, a Ready Light and Test Button, and a Lighten/Darken control. The Lighten/Darken control can be used to lighten or darken a picture in difficult lighting situations.
