SINAMICS-Xplorer data interface ibaPDA-Interface-SINAMICS-Xplorer
3.3 ConguraonandengineeringSINAMICS
Generally, no specic engineering and programming is necessary on the drive side.
When using the PC/CP connecon mode, you have to congure a suitable access point in the
SIMATIC PG/PC interface on the ibaPDA computer, see ì Seng PG/PC interface/dening new
access point, page 30.
3.4 Conguraon&engineeringibaPDA
The engineering for ibaPDA is described in the following. If all system requirements are fullled,
ibaPDA displays the SINAMICS-Xplorer interface in the interface tree of the I/O Manager.
3.4.1 Generalinterfacesengs
If you select the data interface in the tree, you can see an overview of diagnoscs informaon
on the congured connecons between ibaPDA and the drives.
The interface has the following funcons and conguraon opons:
Setallvaluestozerowhentheconnecontoadriveislost
If this opon is enabled, all measured values of the drive are set to zero as soon as the connec-
on is lost. If this opon is disabled, ibaPDA keeps the last valid measured value in memory
when the connecon is lost.
Startacquisionevenifadriveisnotaccessible
If this opon is enabled, the acquision starts even if the drive is not accessible. A warning is
prompted in the validaon dialog, not an error. If the system was started without a connecon
to the drive, ibaPDA periodically tries to connect to the drive.
Allow inaccessible parameters
If this opon is enabled, the acquision starts even if drive parameters are not accessible. These
inaccessible parameters are prompted as warnings in the validaon dialog box, not as errors.
<Openlogle>
If connecons to controllers have been established, all connecon specic acons are recorded
in a text le. Using this buon, you can open and check this le. In the le system on the hard
disk, you nd the log les of the ibaPDA server (…\ProgramData\iba\ibaPDA\Log).
The le name of the current log le is InterfaceLog.txt; the name of the archived log
les is InterfaceLog_yyyy_mm_dd_hh_mm_ss.txt.
