How to connect Gosund WP3 Smart Plugs to Smart Life App

Note:

1. Please use our official App “Smart Life”, and create an account in Smart Life.

2. Choose 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for the first connection. And keep the plugs closer with the router as

much as possible during the first connection.

3. Please confirm that the Wi-Fi password you entered was correct.

4. Two modes for choosing: Easy Mode (indicator rapidly blinks) and AP Mode (indicator slowly

blinks). EP mode is recommended if your router has different ssid with 2.4g and 5g frequency.

Otherwise, AP mode if recommended.

5. The indicator light is blue when connecting, after the connection is successful, the indicator

turns red and lights up.

Easy Mode (indicator rapidly blink)

1. Please choose “Add Device” or the “+”:

2. Choose “All Devices”

3. Select “Electrical Outlet”

4. Make sure “the indicator light rapidly blinks”, then “Confirm”;

5. Enter your home Wi-Fi password, please make sure the password is correct, then confirm.

6. Wait the connection to 100%

7. Successfully, and you can rename the plug if you like

For example:

AP Mode

1. Choose AP Mode (indicator slowly blink):

2. Make sure “the indicator light slowly blinks”, then “Confirm”;

3. Enter your home Wi-Fi password, please make sure the password is correct, then

confirm.

4. Connect the phone’s Wi-Fi to the device’s hoptspot named Smart Life_XXX(Note: every

smart has a separate name based on device id), click “go connect”:

5. Choose the smart plug’s Wi-Fi hotspot:

6. Then go back to Connecting, wait the connection to 100%.

7. Successfully, and you can rename the plug if you like, then click “Completed”

Note:

A: If your router has dual frequency, and the ssid of 2.4g is different from 5g, please choose

2.4g wifi to connect the smart plug. In this condition, you will connect the smart plug

successfully by EP and AP mode.

B: If the ssid of your 2.4g and 5g is the same, there are two ways to connect the smart plug:

The first way:

1. Using AP mode to connect the smart plug( the same steps as above ap mode)

The second way:

If the connection is failed by the first way, please set your router at the following steps:

2. If you do not understand the video, please take the following steps to set it:

a. Connect your current router's wifi with your phone or computer

b. View the label on the router and find the login address

c. Enter the router IP address in the browser and enter the management page:

tplogin.cn (each router is different, view the label can be found)

d. Find the wifi setting option in the router settings interface, first turn off the

dual-frequency function and save the configuration.

After completing the above router settings, you can use both EP and AP mode to

connect the smart plug in the app.

After connection is successful, you can turn on the dual-frequency function on your

router settings.
