The goal of this quick guide is to help you get started with your MiniFinder® Xtreme and live track-
ing of your asset via MiniFinder GO Tracking System in the shortest possible time.

To charge the battery in the GPS tracker, unscrew the small metal cap on the side of the unit and
connect the power adapter.

Here shows an LED light that indicates the status of the unit in three different colors, red,
blue and purple.

CHere shows the bottom of the unit. The two enclosed steel plates are two super magnets. The
button in the middle is a “Function key” which is activated when i.e. an unauthorized person
dismantles the device. The owner is notied via MiniFinder GO about “Function key” being
activated. The alarm button is congured in the MiniFinder GO system.

Unscrew the small metal cap on the side of the unit
with hand or a small screwdriver.
Insert the power adapter into the unit’s connector as
shown on the right. Then plug the adapter into the
power outlet to start charging.
For the rst time charging, the battery should be charged between 8h to 12h. When charging for
the next time, device is fully charged after approx. 4h.

START UPSTART UP
To start your Xtreme for the rst time, open the steel cover at the bottom of the unit. Behind the SIM
card is a small red lever. Use a pen and pull the lever to the left (as shown in the picture). The LED
will now ash, which means your device is on.
Remember to charge your device on time! You will receive an alarm message at a low battery level. If
the battery becomes fully discharged, you will need to restart the GPS Tracker: after fully charged, pull
the red lever rst to the right and then left again to start it.

Before starting the tracking for the rst time, please make sure to place the device
outdoors for 3-5 minutes for faster xing against GPS satellites. Start the device by
connecting the supplied micro USB cable to it.

Here is how to track through web browsers on your computer:
Select (1) Monitoring in the top menu and (2) then click on your device to display its (3) real-time
position on the map.

Hover over the unit (step (3) in the image above) for more information of the GPS Tracker. In the pic-
ture below, we have marked vital information that appears in the box.

6. Battery voltage. Fully charged units have 4.12V or more. Low battery is less than 3.55V.

If the GPS Tracker is attached to a metal object, the “Function key” at the bottom of the unit will be
pressed. When an unauthorized person moves the unit and “Function key” is activated and an alarm
is sent to you via e-mail.
A. In MiniFinder GO, click on Notications (1) > New (2)
B. Select one or more devices and click Next.
C. Select “Parameter in a message” and click on Next.
D. Select parameter “button”. Enter “Value from: 1”, “Value to: 1”. Select Trigger when “out of range”,
then click Next.
E. Select “Notify by e-mail” and enter your email address to receive the alarm. Click Next.
F. Conrm notication text, then click Next.
G. In the name eld, type: Dismantle Alarm and nally click OK.
A. In MiniFinder GO, click on Notications (1) > New (2)
B. Select the device that you want to get a low battery alarm and click Next.
C. Select “Parameter in a message” and click on Next.
D. Select parameter “voltage”. Enter “Value from: 3.7”, “Value to: 6”. Select “Enable Outside Values”
and click Next and Next again.
E. Select “Notify by e-mail” and enter your email address to receive the alarm. Click Next.
F. Conrm notication text, then click Next.
G. In the name eld, type: Low Battery Alarm and nally click OK.

Log in to https://go.mininder.com with your login details or download the MiniFinder GO APP from
the Apple App Store or Google Play. Start the app or open your browser to log in.

Follow the instruction steps below to get started with tracking.
Before you start tracking, make sure to place the device in a suitable location where there is good GPS
reception i.e. in a vehicle or outdoors with open sky.

GeoFence is a virtual area on the map. In MiniFinder GO, you can draw and set up alarm in the sys-
tem if your device leaves a dened area.

At the top menu, click Geofences, and then click New.
File in a name (1) for your Geofence, follow the Help window and double-click
on the map (2) to draw a dened area.
When you are done with the virtual areas on the map, click “Save”(3) button.
