1. Introduction
The 19” Video Interface Plate, 16 Opening, P/N 364575-01 provides a convenient interface for coaxial cables
within a standard 19” Racking System. The individual cables can be jumpered into an OnQ 19” Custom Rack
Drawer or any other component located within the rack for the amplification, combining and distribution of
these signals. Jumpering the signal within the rack can be conveniently done with OnQ Mini Coax Jumpers
P/N 364597-XX. The 19” Video Interface Plate also provides a convenient location for the termination of any
unused coaxial cable to be used in future applications.
2. Description
The 19” Video Interface Plate, 16 Opening, is a 1 U (1.75 inch tall) rack product that mounts to a standard 19”
Rack System. This Video Interface Plate has 16 low-loss “F” style fittings for connecting all incoming and
outgoing signals. The Video Interface Plate allows for 16 signal inputs/outputs. The plate is black powder
coated steel (see Figure 1).
3. Installation
A. Mounting into a standard 19” Racking System
(see Figure 2)
1. Select the location within the rack to allow
easy access of the input and output cables.
2. Align the mounting holes to the tapped holes
in the rack rails.
3. Assemble the 19” Video Interface Plate to
the rack rails using the (4) #10-32 x .38 Pan
Head Screws provided.
B. Cable Connections
1. Identify cables and route to fittings on the plate. In routing cables, allow slack for bundling
cables. Trim the cable to allow lose loop of cable to the connection.
2. Attach a Series 6 “F” connector to the cable. Connect to fitting on plate and finger-tighten.
3. Attach RG6 cables from the plate to the desired locations.
