1 Description
1.1 General Information
The radio-controlled pedal force meter can be used for viewing the pedal forces during
brake tests. The pedal force meter need not be fastened to the foot or the brake
pedal. Independent use is ensured by data radio transmission and the built-in battery.

2 Operation
2.1 Controls and Indicators

2.2 Switching on
Use the ON button to switch on the device. First, an automatic zero adjustment is
performed (status LED is lighting during zero adjustment).
During zero adjustment no load must be applied to the pedal force meter!
2.3 Force Transmission
After completion of the zero adjustment the cyclical force transmission starts. The LED
is flashing with a frequency of 10 Hz.
2.4 Ending the Measurement
If the pedal force falls below a value of 1 N, the pedal force meter switches off after
approx. 3 minutes.
If the pedal force remains unchanged for approx. 5 minutes, the device also switches
off automatically.

3 Disposal
Batteries should not be disposed of in ordinary household garbage. As
consumer you are obliged by law to properly dispose of used batteries.
These can be dropped off at public collection stations in your community
and everywhere where such batteries are sold.
If you want to dispose of the equipment, please contact your MAHA dealer or the
following address, indicating equipment type, date of purchase and serial number:

Alternatively, you may take the equipment to a specialised waste management plant
to ensure that all components and operating liquids are properly disposed of.
