1. Introduction:
The Telecom Service Conditioning Module, PN 364599-01, is a mounting plate that accepts up to three
Telecom Service Module Conditioning Units. This module can be mounted into any OnQ Standard
Service Center Enclosure and has an attached wire for grounding to provide a common ground to the
plate and the attached conditioning units. (Refer to Figure 1.)
2. Description:
The Telecom Service Conditioning Module consists of a black powder coated steel base plate with
integral threaded standoffs for mounting up to three conditioning units and the 48 inch 14 gage grounding
cable (supplied). The module is a half-width module, 4”H x 6.42”W, which is mounted with the standard
OnQ Tab and plunger arrangement.
3. Installation:
A. Mounting the module in enclosure (Refer to Figure 2)
1. Align tabs on module with slots on rail of enclosure.
2. Insert tabs by angling module away from the back of the
enclosure and sliding forward.
3. Rotate the module and insert fasteners on module into
corresponding holes on rail of enclosure. (Plunger must be
in the pulled out position for fastener to engage hole.)
4. Push plunger in to lock module in place. Pull on module to
assure module is locked properly in place.
Note: Recommended location for Service Conditioning Module is in close proximity to the
Telecom Distribution modules; however, modules may be mounted in any available space.
B. Grounding Module
1. Route attached ground cable to the enclosure ground lug.
2. Connect ground cable securely to the enclosure ground.
Note: Enclosure must be properly installed and grounded for Surge conditioning units to function.
