Pull starter rope 4-6 times to prime hydraulic pump.

Fill engine with gas to
within 1/2-inch of top
of tank.
Fill engine with entire
contents of oil bottle.

(A) Remove
locking pin.
(B) Use handle
to slide cylinder
back to lock in
place.
(C) Reinstall
pin.
Lubricate
surface of beam
with engine oil.
(A) Remove clevis pin
and hairpin clip.
(B) Pivot hydraulic
valve control handle
back into slot of
valve.
(C) Align holes and
reinstall clevis pin
and hairpin clip.

Pull out the
choke knob
and turn
engine switch
to on.

On level ground,
check hydraulic
fluid level and,
if needed, fill to
just below the
hydraulic oil plug.
Do not overfill
max.
Push choke in after
engine starts.
Pull starter rope
with quick, full
armstroke. If
engine does
not start after
ten seconds of
repeated pulls,
wait a few
minutes and
repeat.
Reverse
Neutral
Forward
Use hydraulic valve
control handle to fully
extend and retract
cylinder 4-6 cycles to
remove trapped air in
the system.
