Thebuzzerusesanaudiblealarm(>85dB(A))torepeatSea Talkng®andNMEA2000alarms
generatedbydevicesontheSea Talkng®network.Thebuzzerconnectstoaspurconnectionon
yourSeaTalkng®bus(backboneor5-wayconnector),whichalsosuppliesthepowerforthebuzzer.
Note:AcompatibleMFDori70/i70sinstrumentisrequiredtorelayNMEA2000alarmstothe
buzzer.

Locationconsiderations.
Whenchoosingalocationfortheproduct,considerthefollowingpointstoensurereliableand
trouble-freeoperation:
•Access—theremustbesufficientspacetoenablecableconnectionstotheproduct,avoiding
tightbendsinthecable.
•Audible—Mounttheunitinalocationwhereitwillbeheardeasilywhenactivated.However,be
awarethatthebuzzerisloud,avoidinstallinginalocationthatisatheadheight.
•Breatherholes—Mounttheunitinalocationthatallowsspacebetweentheproductandits
mountingsurfaceforthebreatherholeontherearoftheunit.Formoreinformation,referto:
