The B77 is an extension back box for cable management and can be used for surface, pendant or
horizontal wall mounting of i3’s M77 camera series.
• Back box for IP camera wire management.
• Suitable for outdoor and indoor installations.
• Four (4) pre-drilled mounting holes for surface mounting (covered with black rubber plugs).
• Optional use with Pendant Mount EMT Pipe 3/4” or DB60 Horizontal Wallmount bracket.

In addition to this manual and B77 back box,
the packing box includes:
1. Round head screw, machine type x4
2. Round head screw, tapping type, with ‘O’ ring x4
3. Plastic anchor x4
4. Surface Mount template x1
5. 3/4” coupler x1 with O-ring. Attach to the conduit opening.

• In pendant and horizontal wall-mount installations,
screw the 3/4” coupler into the top conduit hole.
Tighten to fully compress the ‘O’-ring on the
coupler. (Figure B)
• In outdoor installations, add silicone to the 3/4”
coupler threads, as well as DB60 Goose neck
bracket or EMT pipe threads (if using).
• Ensure that the mounting surface and mounting
hardware is suitable for the chosen installation
method.
• To maintain IP67 waterproof rating, always use the

1. Attach the mounting template (4) to the mounting surface.
2. B77 comes with four pre-drilled holes. Depending on the type of installation and mounting surface, complete
drilling 2-3 holes, as marked on the template.
3. Insert anchors (3) into the holes.
4. Drill the conduit hole for the camera cable, as marked on the template; pull the camera’s cable into the back box.
5. Remove the rubber plugs from the holes on the back box matching the ones drilled on the mounting surface.
Secure the B77 back box to mounting surface using the tapping type screws (2). Tighten the screws to fully
compress the ‘O’ ring.
6. Use machine type screws (1) to attach M77 camera to the B77 back box.
7. Re-attach the dome bubble.
DB60 / Pendant Installation (Follow Figure C)
1. Pull the camera’s cable into the DB60 or the 3/4 EMT pipe.
2. Attach B77 to the DB60 or to the 3/4” EMT pipe (using a conduit fitting).
Add sealant on all threads as shown in Figures B and C.
3. Use machine type screws (1) to attach M77 camera to the B77 back box.
4. Re-attach the dome bubble.

INSTALLATION
Use the hex screwdriver or bit (not provided) to loosen four screws securing the dome bubble to M77 camera.
Set the dome bubble aside.

• Use sealant on all threads during installation. If using the side conduit hole, move the metal plug from the
side conduit to the top conduit hold.
