Charging the battery
The Ignite’s built-in rechargeable lithium battery should only be charged when
the unit is switched off. Connect one end of the USB power cable to the charging
port of the Ignite and connect the other end to your PC or USB mains adaptor.
The battery will start charging.
• It takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge the battery
• Whilst charging, the LED will flash red
• When fully charged, the LED will turn off
• A fully charged unit has up to 7 hours of playback time
If the Ignite is paired to an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, the battery level of the
speaker will be showing on the top notification bar.
LED indicator
There is an LED light on the front of the Ignite. Please see below for what each
LED indication means.
- LED off: Power OFF/Sleep mode (if after 10 minutes no music input from
Bluetooth device)/Full charge
- Solid blue: Power ON (Bluetooth not paired/Aux mode)
- Flashing blue/red: Pairing mode
- Quick flashing red with tone sound: Low battery level
- Flashing red: Charging
- Flashing blue: Device paired (blue light will stop flashing after 3 minutes
even when connected and playing)
Note: If there is no Bluetooth connection after 25 minutes, the Ignite will
automatically turn off. Simply switch the Ignite OFF and then ON to turn back
on again.
