Auxiliary
Using the provided cable, you can connect your device directly to the speaker. To use this, simply:
− Plug the cable into the speaker’s Aux-in port (9) and your device
− The LED light indicator (2) will be a solid red once connected
− Press play on your device
• Volume– (5) – short press
• Volume+ (6) – short press
When playing music using the cable, you will not be able to use the Play/Pause, Next track and
Previous track functions.
Headphone Jack
You can connect headphones to you speaker. To do this, simply:
• Connect your speaker to your device using either Bluetooth or auxiliary
• Plug you headphone cable into the headphone port (8)
• Not compatible with CTIA cables
Please note: Your device will have an internal amplier and if it is playing digital les like MP3s it will also have an
integrated DAC (Digital Audio Converter). If you turn the volume up to 100%, your device will be sending a distorted
signal. To avoid this, and to get the best quality from the speaker, we recommend that you do not run your device
any higher than 95% volume. Some devices output higher than others, so you may need to reduce the volume if you
experience distortion.
Call Handling
While in Bluetooth mode you can make and take phone calls. You can use your device to answer/end/reject
the phone call or you can use your speaker.
• Answer – Short press Play/Pause (7)
• End – Short press Play/Pause (7)
• Reject – Long Press (3 seconds) Play/Pause (7)
Note: You can still take calls while in Auxiliary mode. However this will automatically turn your smartphone
to loud speaker mode – you won’t be able to control the call from the speaker.
