DOMUS 19809 ALPHA-SM is a square body exterior surface mounted ceiling light with a 60-degree beam angle and an IP rating of 65. It has a lifespan of 40,000 hours and comes with a 3000K warm white lamp, but can be used with either a 3000K or 5000K lamp. The lamp is dimmable and the fixture is easy to install, with a mounting plate that can be attached to different mounting surfaces using the supplied screws.

To ensure correct IP protection, the earth wire must be connected and the grommet on the rear base plate must be present.

Steps:
• Please make a visual inspecon to the xture prior to
installaon. If any defect is to be found please return to you
place of purchase for a replacement.
• Make sure all power is correctly turned o from the mains
and NOT just from the switch.
• Unscrew the lamp cover from the main body. Carefully insert
the supplied lamp ensuring the pins line up before securing
into place.
• Ensure the silicon gasket is in place. Please do not over
ghten as this may damage the gasket and inhibit correct IP
protecon.
• Once lamp has been installed please remove the base
mounng plate. Carefully unscrew the three (3) stainless steel
grub screws.
• Mount mounng base plate using supplied screws. Please
note that due to dierent mounng sub straights addional
xing screws maybe needed (Not supplied).
• Proceed in connecng the power cable to the supplied
terminal block. Due to the nature of this xture the Earth wire
MUST be connected. Please ensure the grommet supplied
on the rear base plate is sll present (removing this will
prevent correct IP protecon and void warranty)
• Once connecons are made please proceed in re-aaching
the main body to the mounng plate. Turn mains power back
on from the mains and test to make sure all is working.
• To keep the nish maintained and in good appearance the
manufacture recommends cleaning the xture once every
12mnths with clean fresh water and a mild soap. Please rinse well.
