RadiantPEX-AL
Codes, Listings, and Standards:
RadiantPEX-AL Press fittings are manufactured in accordance with American Standard
Testing Methods (ASTM) F-1281, and are tested and listed by the National Sanitation
Foundation (NSF-PW Standards 14 and 61 and NSF-rfh), and carries the UPC certification
mark, as approved by the International Association
of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO).
One multi-jaw PressAll tool can make
several connection sizes.
Watts Radiant’s line of Press fittings offers a clean, reliable method of connection for
RadiantPEX-AL. The Stainless Steel sleeve creates a permanent, unyielding union on the
outside, while the double O-rings form a dependable internal seal. Choose from a wide variety
of fitting styles and sizes to suit your needs and use just one tool to make all your connections.
15” PressAll Kit w/ 1/2”, 5/8” and 3/4” jaws. 19” PressAll Kit w/ 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4” and 1” jaws.

Both the 15” and the 19” tool kits contain an adjustment
wrench and a jaw changing tool. Instructions for
adjustment, jaw replacement and making PressAll
connections are permanently labelled inside the lid.

Product Overview
Press fittings are designed to be used with
RadiantPEX-AL in radiant heating and
s
nowmelting applications. The fittings are
compatible with water and water/glycol
solutions. No other tubing type may be used.
Fittings are available in a variety of Press x
Sweat, Press x NPT
or Press x BSP
connections.
Warnings:
When using sweat fittings, ensure
that all O-rings and insulator
bases are removed prior to
soldering.
If connections must be made in
temperatures lower than 30°F
(C), caution must be taken
to allow for a proper seal.
The Connection
Step 1:
Cut a clean, square end to the tubing.
Step 2:
Use the Reamer tool to shape and prep
the tubing.
Step 3:
Make sure the insulator base is in place at
the base of the fitting.
Step 4:
Make sure the Press sleeve is seated against
the insulator base of the connection.
Step 5:
Slide the RadiantPEX-AL tubing onto the
fitting until the tubing is visible through the
view port.
Step 6:
Place the Press fitting into one side of
the jaws.
Step 7:
Close the jaws firmly. Tool will stop
automatically when complete.
