Disconnect the

Weighing Platform

cable from the port of the

IS-240/280 mailing system.

Remove the Weighing

Platform cable from

the component cavity.

Disconnect the power

cable from the wall

outlet. This will turn o the

IS-240/280 mailing system.

Put the mail machine in

sleep mode by pressing

the sleep wake button .

The following steps will guide you through the removal of the weighing platform and installation of a

new weighing platform.

Place the old Weighing Platform into the new

shipping package. Seal the package with

packing tape (not provided). Apply the prepaid

label to the package over the old shipping label.

Connect the new

Weighing Platform

cable to the port of the IS-

240/280 mailing system.

Weighing Platform

and shipping label from

the shipping package.

Replacing The Weighing Platform

The power indicator light will

be amber.

Place the new

Weighing Platform

onto the system aligning

the Weighing Platform

feet with the indentations

on the base.

From the Home

screen, press the

“MENU” button.

Press the down arrow

button to select

“Online Services” and

press the “OK” button.

Press the down arrow

button to select

“Generic Call” and press

the “OK” button.

Your mailing system is ready to use!

Connect the power

cable to the wall outlet.

This will turn on the IS-

240/280 mailing system.

Testing The Weighing Platform By Connecting To The Online Server

Turn on the press the

“Sleep/Wake” button.

The power indicator light

will become green.

The machine is

preparing for the

generic call.

Do not interrupt

this process.

If you fail to return the old weighing platform within ten business days, you will be charged the full

replacement value of the weighing platform.
