1. Product Description
1.1 About Simple Addressable System
The simple addressable broadcast host is a type of simple addressable public broadcast system that
integrates addressable control host, pre-amplifying function and final stage power amplifier, and also
combines terminal decoder or addressable speaker.
ADR6435 is the control host of the system, which is capable of controlling 100 zones. The host
employs BUS wiring pattern, and a pair of power wire is connected to every zone. The wiring is very
simple and the zone arrangement and adjustment require no change of line. The zone paging has
options for individual zone, all zones and partial zone, and the paging is provided with
pre-conversation ringing alert.
The simple addressable system composed by the equipment can be controlled by PC, which can
carry out timing programming control for this system.
The equipment is provided with four line input ports used for linking audio facilities of external
equipment to broadcast music programs for zones. In addition, the equipment is also provided with
remote paging extension interface for connection with remote pager.
The system composed by the equipment meets the requirements of the broadcast of schools,
factories, gardens, office buildings, shopping malls, stations and docks.

4. Operation Descriptions
4.1 Zone Control Operations
The simple addressable system composed by this equipment is provided with 100 zones, and the
system controls the zones via control keys for the zones on the panel.
Under default status after power-on, the status indicator lamp of selection key of 120zones is on,
and the system is under status of the last shutdown. In this case, the first zone to 20
th
zone can be
directly controlled by key +1+20 (gently press the zone key once, if the indicator lamp is on, it
indicates the zone is switched-on; gently press the zone key when the indicator lamp is on can
make the indicator lamp go off, and it indicates the shutdown of the zone) .For control of zones
whose number is above 20, please press zone selection key first, and then the key for +1+20.
Control scope for the selection key of the five zones are as follows:
l Zone scope selection key 120 is used for controlling the first to 20th zones.
l Zone scope selection key " 2140 " is used for controlling the 21st to 40th zones.
l Zone scope selection key " 4160 " is used for controlling the 41st to 60th zones.
l Zone scope selection key " 6180 " is used for controlling the 61st to 80th zones.
l Zone scope selection key " 81100" is used for controlling the 81st to 100th zones.
Key ALL ON is used for switching on all the zones (100 zones). After switching on all the zones,
in case of a need to switch off a particular or certain zones, please select the related scope of the
zone with zone scope selection key, and then shut off all zones not required with zone control key.
Key ALL ON is used for switching off all the zones (100 zones).Similarly, after switching off all
the zones, in case of a need to switch on certain zones, the above procedures also apply.
Pressing key RESUME makes the system in "resuming" status, and the system reads and executes
the zone status stored in the memory. Under normal operation status of the equipment, prolonged
ON status of the indicator lamp relative to RESUME is called resuming status. Under resuming
status, the present status of all zones can be automatically stored to the memory of the equipment.
4.2 Playing Background Music for Zones
Connect audio facilities for any of the four sound input interfaces of the equipment and power on the
audio facility, then the system will allocate the audio automatically to the 100 terminals. (Note: the
10 zones only uses one audio). Among the four audio input interfaces, AUX1 has priority function. If
there are simultaneous signal input for AUX1 and any one among AUX2, AUX3 and AUX4, then
the input signal of AUX1 interface can automatically suppress the input signal of other lines.
4.3 Volume Control
Knobs AUX1 VOL, AUX2 VOL, AUX3 VOL and AUX4 VOL on the panel of the equipment are

* Addressable Control Host
6
used to control the volume of the input channels respectively. Knob MIC VOL is used to control
the volume of microphone. Clockwise turning represents volume increase, while anticlockwise
turning represents volume decrease.
Volume of the 100 zones is integratedly controlled by the knob on the panel of the equipment, i.e..
the equipment is not provided with separate control for simultaneous volume increase or decrease for
the 100 zones.
4.4 Paging and Priority Functions
Paging includes remote paging and paging of microphone connected to the equipment. The control
of zones by the remote pager enjoys priority over addressable host and PC control software. When
the zones are switched upon on the remote pager for paging, the five zone scope selection keys on
the panel of the equipment can be used to view the operation status of zones during the paging. Any
operation over the zones by addressable host and PC control software other than the operation by
remote pager will be invalid.
When the remote pager is conducting paging operation for a particular zone, if the zone is switched
on on the remote pager, then all the zones for background music will be switched off, then the paged
zone will be switched on. After the paging, use key ALL OFF on the pager to switch off all the
zones or the power of remote pager, and all the zones will resumed to the pre-paging operation status.
When the pager is conducting paging for all the zones, gently press ALL ON key on the remote
pager to switch on all the zones. In this case, the equipment will switch off the zone playing
background music first, then switch on all the zones. After the paging, gently press key ALL OFF
on the pager to resume the status of playing background music of the zones.
The system can also perform paging over the zones by the microphone connected to the equipment.
Prior to the paging, gently press the key for ringing alert on the panel to obtain the ringing tone.
Ringing volume can be adjusted by the ringing volume adjustment knob (1) on the panel of the
equipment. Adjust the microphone volume to the optimal position (until no howl is available for the
microphone), and then carry out paging for the zones.
When the system is playing the audio input by AUX1 interface, paging over zones can also be
performed by microphone. Input signal of AUX1 interface and ringing signal are the same priority
signal, and the output terminal can transmit three signals, any of which can cover the audio signal
input by AUX2, AUX3 and AUX4.
Note for Operation:
1. When the host is off, at least 10 minutes is required for re-energization.
2. When withdrawing from the remote paging (by pressing key ALL OFF of the remote pager),
please power off the microphone of remote pager at the same time, otherwise, the surrounding
sounds can still reach the zones switched on after the resuming via the microphone of pager.
